Greek and Shop — Restaurant in Madrid

The stuff speaks only spanish,not Greek or english except the cashier I ordered my meal.A bit unhappy about their job or not smilling at all.Greek hospitality and spirit is missing from this place.You have a shop that suppose is greek and there is no any employee who can speak in greek or at least can be more warm and welcomed. The pita gyros was fresh and tasty but by far is not "greek"style gyros but more close to the spanish bocadillos . The prices are middle.For sure you need around 10e to be satisfied. The whole place is cosy,clean and well decorated for mostly young crowds. Για τους Έλληνες που ξέρουν τον κλασσικό γύρο και περιμένουν να φάνε 2 πίτογυρα ξεχάστε το..Φάτε ισπανικά.Αν θέλετε κάτι αλλο ελληνικό, έχει και μπορείτε να το απολαύσετε φυσικά.. Καλή η προσπάθεια.Χανει στην εξυπηρέτηση.. Λίγα Αγγλικά κ λίγη ευγένεια...

Well, I didn't buy anything from the place as the staff was so rude, so I cannot comment about the quality of food.

I am Greek and was so excited to see this place. I entered the place and saw some traditional greek sweets and I excitingly asked the lady if she speaks Greek. She responded with some irony that she is Spanish and she does not speak Greece... and ok maybe the irony was my idea right? She turns back to her collegue and she said in Spanish (i speak some Spanish), "we are in Spain and this girl is asking me if I speak Greek" in a way that she was obviously annoyed by my question... also, she did not realise I could hear so it was not a joke... Her colleague realised I heard it and he was obviously uncomfortable so I told him in English that I understand some Spanish that she was...

Ordered a couple gyros, a couscous salad, and some pita bread and tzatziki for delivery. The gyros were room temperature, and the meat had obviously not been cooked that day. The couscous salad was a bone-dry disaster, and the pita bread was literally a frozen package of pitas that you could buy at any supermarket. If this was a 10 Euro emergency snack from a gas station, I could understand that, but this was 50 Euro (That includes 3 bottles of beer. The bottles of beer were fine). Major disappointment, and nothing redeeming...
