I've heard about this place for a long time, and now we've finally tried it. In fact, in the time its taken me to write this review, we’ve been here at least three times.
Here’s my assessment. Upfront, great food and friendly service. The food is amazingly fresh and made in your presence. We’ve almost had all the dishes, and I do recommend virtually everyone of them. My favorite is the Mediterranean with peri peri chicken and cauliflower rice. Sometimes, depending on how busy they are, it might take a little longer than usual to get your food. Nevertheless, its worth the wait.
The staff is friendly and speak both English and Spanish, so no worries if you don’t speak the language. They also will help you to narrow down your self-imposed tough choices.
The actual restaurant vibe is nice. It has a modern rustic, green ambiance that feels open but somehow still intimate. In the restaurant, seating is never really an issue. You can find seating inside or outside. The downstairs area is a coffee bar with additional seating that is a little more secluded if that’s your thing. Also, the coffee is good too.
My wife and I love this place for a lunch date. Consistently, we’ve come here and paid around €37 for two drinks, two meals, and one shareable app (get the sweet potato fries, they’re phenomenal). Beware the bottled juice, though. Its small, taste like dirt, and is €5 no refills.
Overall, great people, good food, and nice atmosphere. We’ve already been back and will continue to come...

I chose Honest greens delivery today for the kombucha + vegan cheesecake. Well, both items were missing from my order!! When I reported to staff (which took 2 chats cause the ended the first one) I was initially offered a free meal by Joao Pedro. After 20 mins chatting with him (throughout which he tried to sneak the refund into my honest greens account instead of the credit card) and chatting with a girl called Connie, I received a message saying that I'd only get 3,5€ for dessert. Only 3,5€!!! Store credit, of course.
So to recall: I didn't receive my full order. I spent nearly 50€. I had dinner whilst chatting on the phone to try and get It sorted. I patiently waited 20 mins for an answer, thinking I was going to be compensated with a promised free meal for the inconvenience at the very least. When I finally got an answer, I only got 3,5€ of credit!! The kombucha I didn't get costs 3,9€ and the dessert 4,5€
So there you go. Useless.
It's enfuriating.
I'm hungry. I'm empty handed. And I've been lied to.
Amazing experience for a long-term customer who purchases from you roughly once every other week.
Makes me wonder: how do you...
Read moreI love Honest Greens and have been to three of their locations over the years, one in Barcelona and two in Madrid. In terms of a lunchtime atmosphere, this one is my favourite! The decor is light and earthy compared to the moodier lighting at Gran Via (which is of course much busier at peak times).
The server was very friendly and patient when I didn’t recognise them saying my own name 😂😂 We pronounce it differently in England I swear!
Food is always of a very high standard and service is very fast. If you haven’t been before, I recommend getting the app so you can preorder your food and you don’t have to wait as long. You can also select your allergens in the app which helps refine your search and makes it super easy and safe.
I’d also recommend their refillable water over their juices, as I can’t recommend the juices due to the portion size and the cost. The flavoured water however is free to refill and costs half the price.
And finally, definitely get a slice of banana bread on the way out! The best gluten free/plant based bread...
