Excellent. A shellfish place that executes perfectly. Zamburiñas, boquerones, anchoa y pulpo were all excellent. The one criticism is that the potato that came with the pulpo gallago was not good. It was lacking flavor and the wrong texture -- to the degree that it was crumble when forked. However I would happily order it again as the pulpo was excellent - and that is what counts. This is a stand-up place, there is standing counters in the main room, and a few tables in the back. It is in busy area so parking can be found but will typically require...

This was such an authentic tapas experience! My partner and I were probably the only non-locals in the restaurant.

We ordered the scallops/zamburiña plancha (very good — make sure to drink up the olive oil sauce) and the smoked sardines/sardina ahumada (superb — I still dream about it). Unlike the touristy market places, Fide toasts their bread (the base of the tapas) to order.

It was quite hard to find a spot, but I’ll chalk that up to the authenticity of...

Terrible experience here. I had intended coming for a short snack but the waiter went on a hard sell. I ended up buying a crab dish. The waiter neglected to say that it cost 40 euro. It wasn’t nice and the scallops were a bit rubbery. I was foolish to have accepted the hard sell. There were linguistic challenges that complicated matters. The waiter should have been more transparent. So I would avoid this place. There are nicer places on...

Wanted to start a tapas crawl and we did it with Fide. We were welcomed by some friendly staff. Had a seat immediately. The food was very good and they had cheap drink prices. I give this a 4 because it was hotter inside then it was outside on a summer day. Also the food prices are very expensive. But the selection of food and quality helps this place maintain a cool 4.

One of the places where one can actually have a small beer and a tapa before lunch. The sidewalks along Calle Ponzano is currently being widened, with new paving stones, reducing the traffic flow and eliminating parking. Most of the terraces have been removed by the city.
