Since we have arrived, we knew something was off. The restaurant has a weird smell and we were told to wait despite the room was empty. The tortilla de patatas was cold and too salty, and it seemed like it was prepared a lot earlier and just warmed up. Then we got a tomato salad and the tomatoes tasted like they were three-weeks old. For a ~20€ plate that is centered around the tomatoes, this was shocking. We then told to the waitress that the tomatoes were not good, and in response she said absolutely nothing, she just stared at us. Our last plate was “langostino al ajillo” that not only tasted bad, but the shrimps were not cooked properly. So we had to stop eating to avoid getting sick. The bill came at 98€ for three people, which is very pricey for food of such low quality. We left and no-one mentioned anything about the tomatoes plate, and actually the waiters were really dry to us. The place is absolutely to avoid.
Edit after their comment: unfortunately, sometimes a restaurant doesnt even know how to cook a tomato, let alone knowing how to manage a feedback. 🥸 maybe too much time spent on offending customers on Google Maps and not enough time spent in...
Read moreMy husband and I went here for a date night and highly recommend! We tried the chicharrones, boquerones y berenjena, gambas con ajillo, almejas con gambas y jamón and a play on the ensalada de tomate con ventresca with salmorejo...
All delicious and even the bread was great, which we kept asking for because we wanted to mop up every part of the dish. Hehe.
The waitress was knowledgable, considerate and attentive.
