Please read our review! If we could rate this place 10 Stars we would!!!

If you’re like my wife and I, and searching for a new level of flavor and spice in Madrid ,we cant recommend this restaurant enough. Please give this place a try. We’re visiting spain for the first time and although the dishes that this country has to offer are delicious there’s a level of heat that we were missing. Moharaj restaurant has such flavor we were longing for. We spoke to the owner at length and he happily heard our food preferences regarding the types of flavors we like. Something new to us was the difference between sweet dishes and spicy dishes as it played a big role on this locations menu. The Menu of the day is such a great Mix of appetizers and entrees as well a beverage that we couldn’t resist. The chicken and beef dish he recommend had the perfect amount of heat and flavor along with the huge portion of rice that just warmed our soul! Needless to say nothing was left on our plates and we left overjoyed. Thank you to the staff for such wonderful food and service. Coming in person to dine in is in my opinion much more with it than ordering from home. It’s places like this that need to be highlighted for the people who work in them. We will be back, and cannot wait to try more of this delicious...

To start with, place is easy to find by and to my surprise we were the only Indian couple who were having dinner thr. The place was buzzing with locals and it felt really gud sitting around thr. Now coming to the food, taste is decent however do note that it has been customized to suit European taste n if you came here looking for genuine Indian food you will have to tell them to cook it that way. there were complimentary papaddam served with 3 chutneys and was delicios. We haf Naan n chicen jhalfrezi, naan was huge n serving for chicken was good enough for two. Taste too was pretty good however our bad that we didn't ask them to make it a little spicy to make it more chatakdar as we say in India. We were served by Firoz and he was vert gracious and helpful in letting us chose the dish. mango lassi served at the end...

The Moharaj has both indoor seating and tables on the terrace. The menu gives you a large selection, the portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The service was slow but the waiter kept our table busy with lots of free papadum and tasty dips. I enjoyed my tandoori lamb with fried vegetables which was served crackling hot on an iron skillet. My wife said her butter chicken and basmati rice with raisins were the best she ever had. We tried the naan bread with fruit paste, which was an unusual combination but worked well as a dessert. A pleasant surprise was the complimentary glasses of mango fruit cocktail served at the end of our dinner.

A solid little curry house this one. Nothing spectacular but more delicious and reasonable than some. The naans are authentic and absolutely delicious, up there with the best I've tried outside of India. Tasty bhajis, not the best though. Really enjoyed the tikka masala and the lamb tandoori balti. The muttar planner was a little bland if honest. Could do with a bit more spice Friendly service, really nice chaps and a tasty post dinner mango lassi yoghurt thing thrown in for free. Wish they had Kingfisher rather than Cobra though. Will be back to sample the madras.

When you walk into a restaurant and it’s packed, you know it’s got to be good! And it sure was! They start your dining experience off by bringing free pappadam with sauces to the table while you look over the menu, and end the meal with a free mango lassi (which is absolutely delicious!) I ordered the butter chicken and it was smooth, buttery, and very mild (if you’re looking for something that’s not spicy at all, it’s perfect!) I also had the pilau rice and cheese naan which were very tasty! Wonderful and friendly service and delicious food!
