Monsieur Sushita — Restaurant in Madrid

I wouldn't recommend this place. This place doesnt have trained staffs to attend to clients. As we got to the restaurant at the time of the reservation, they were not ready. A few staff here and there can be seen but that's about it. When you offer a reservation time for service, one expects to come to a place that is ready, whether it is the kitchen or the waiting staff. The staffs are not well trained, or maybe no meetings are done prior to starting business. We massively reduced the number of things we wanted to order. The one who appears to be the manager is another clown who is hugging and greeting staff in the restaurant. The owner probably is someone who has enough money to not care about this place or food Or endlessly having conversations with other staffs at every corner. Absolutely horrible music playing. This place has no flair whatsoever no matter how fancy it looks Drinks on the menu are either not available or forgotten. Food is nothing special. I dont even recommend anything...

Worst experience and I got literally robbed since I forgot my sunglasses and when I called back they confirmed the brand and color, so I left my name and phone number. My bad was that I had a serious health problem and couldn’t go for few weeks, called back to explain and confirmed again that no need to be worry to be surprised that my glasses have disappeared when I got the chance to pass and pick them up, simply telling me that it was my fault that it took me few weeks and that I “lost” them, after getting angry, trying to check the cameras and doubting that someone from their stuff took them (that are expensive),they refused and “promised” to do what they can, but it was all a manipulation, asking for the receipt that I couldn’t find and a cheap way to...

I have always walked by Monsieur Sushita for years at this point without walking in and my, oh my, what a mistake because this was a truly wonderful experience.

The staff are very attentive without being suffocating and the atmosphere and decor of the place is top notch and stunning!

We got the shrimp tower, which was my favorite dish of them all, truly spectacular, the croquetas which were divine and the rolls ended up being on the more disappointing side, honestly. We also had the brownie for dessert, which was absolutely divine and deliciously soft and moist.

My main issues with the restaurant is how uncomfortable the bottom of the tables were and the high prices. The food was good but it was 15-17€ per plate and that's a bit up...
