The food was really good, the service was very fast. Nothing to complain until the payment. We received the paper with the amount to pay. We were waiting for someone to come with the card machine. I let my card on the table. I was distracted. Suddenly the waiter came with the machine and just put it near my creditcard, making the payment while I was distracted. I didn't understand how can it be possible. I was going to divide the payment with 2 more people that were there eating and drinking with me. But, without my concern, I payed all of it. That was not the biggest problem, they can give me the money after. Even if it was only €2 euros I would be chocked. I didn't even check the amount in the machine before the payment. I never saw this in my life. I felt disrespected as a costumer. Just because my card was on the table it doesn't mean that someone can make a payment without my concern. I didn't check the valour, I wasn't with the card in my hands. The waiter noticed the situation and apologized. I think he had a lot of things to do and did it automatically. After that the pulpo gallego arrived, and clearly the potatoes were boiled a week ago. The octopus was ok though. Read moreTengo que decir que nunca escribo críticas negativas, pero en este caso hago una excepción con el ánimo de que la empresa que lo regenta pueda mejorar. También aclaro que la experiencia con este negocio se limita a la cena navideña de empresa, en la que éramos un grupo numeroso, probablemente en otras circunstancias el trato habría sido diferente.
El primer punto de crítica es que durante la organización del evento y al observar los menús ofrecidos, se advirtió que alguno de los comensales era vegano y otro intolerante al gluten. La respuesta fue que realmente no sabían si se tenía gluten o no en el menú, que no podían modificar los menús ofertados y que se pidiera a la carta. Si alguien por ética, salud o manía personal decide no comer carne o pescado, claro que puede decidir no ir a un local en la que estos alimentos se sirvan, pero estoy seguro que el dueño hará lo posible e imposible por agradar a su clientela. En cualquier caso, quien se dedica a esto no puede no saber con qué alérgenos trabajan y qué alternativas tienen. Parece claro que quien nos atendió no conoce su negocio o son gestores en una franquicia.
Lo siguiente es la comida en sí. El menú elegido -35€- constaba de entrantes y principal. La comida en sí no estaba mal (el pulpo de muy baja calidad, aunque la tortilla tipo Betanzos muy rica), pero muy escasa, todas las raciones a compartir -el principal incluido- quedan muy lejos de lo que uno espera por 35 €. Todo con vino abundante, eso sí.
Hay que decir que el trato del personal fue muy correcto y amable. Solo espero que estos comentarios les ayuden a mejorar...
