Oter Restaurante — Restaurant in Madrid

I recently dined at Oter, a restaurant located in the upscale Barrio Salamanca area of Madrid, and I must say it was quite an experience. The Mediterranean menu, with a focus on seafood and Spanish classics, offered a delightful array of flavors.

Unfortunately, I cannot leave a positive review for this restaurant. In the past, both the service and the food were much better, but this time I was very disappointed. I came for dinner with business partners, and we received no attention at all: no one offered us drinks, no menus were brought, and we had to actively ask for a waiter to come to our table. The food was also below expectations. The fish we ordered was served simply as pieces on a plate, without any garnish or sides. The meat, which we specifically asked to be well done, was served rare and turned out to be quite tasteless.

Fui por casualidad a cenar, tienen una mesas fuera, no exactamente en una terraza son unas mesas pegadas a la fachafa del Restaurante que cuando hace buen tiempo se está bien fuera, lo único que son mesas pequeñas y tienes que hacer equilibrios con el servicio en la mesa, luego dentro tienen mesas altas y bajas, lo cual hace que cada uno pueda escoger donde cree que estará más cómodo, yo escogi mesa baja en zona interior, el local es grande, no lo parace desde la calle. Tienen una decoración clásica, el sitio es agradable, las mesas interiores están muy juntas y las conversaciones de los demás son las tuyas, pero hay otros restaurantes que esto es aún peor. Tienen una carta amplia, pensaba que era un Restaurante gallego, pero diria que es de comida Española. Las raciones son generoses y el producto es bueno, no es espectacular, pero es bueno. El servicio, correcto, un poco lento en mi caso. Los arroces los piden mucho, sobre todo el de bogabante y el de marisco pelado. La Bodega es correcta, sin grandes caldos, pero con unas referencias de cada denominación. Mi puntuación es media porque cené bien, pero nada espectacular, tardaron mucho en servirme el segundo, vi como el servicio se reprochaba entre ellos que hacian y lo poco que trabajaba un camarero concreto y eso me sobró y luego cuando vinieron los de la mesa de al lado, estuve a punto de juntar las mesas y presentarme, su conversación era la mia y no es de las cosas que más me gustan. Para comer algo informall el sitio está bien, yo lo recomiendo, mi experiencia no fue la mejor, pero eso no quita que la comida...
