AVOID! THEY PUNCH PAYING CUSTOMERS HERE AND THEY SELL FAKE ALCOHOL.

A group of three of us went here for what was meant to be a chill night out in Madrid with some good drinks and music.

Unfortunately, the experience was anything but good. We were accused of not paying for the bottle of gin we had ordered, at which point the waiter just took our drinks away. Upon trying to calm the situation down, and realising that maybe we had made a mistake, we paid again. Sadly, although we believe that we paid they never gave us a receipt so we had no proof. In trying to just continue the night and have a good time we paid again. The waiters and security however all continued to be incredibly hostile. We attempted to apologise over 6 times, and tried to shake hands to show that we did not mean any harm but the waiter kept acting hostile and not accepting our apology.

About an hour and a half before closing, one of the waiters then came and just took our shisha away. When we questioned why he took it away he just said they were closing, which we knew to be a lie. We asked why take our shisha then and not any of the others on the other 3 tables that had them and again he came up with some nondescript reply and then proceeded to call security on us, who then proceeded to kick us out of the establishment.

Again, trying to be polite and not wanting to look for trouble we left willingly but wanted to try to diffuse the situation. After all we didn’t do anything wrong, and we just don’t need that kind of negativity especially when all we wanted was to go out and have a good time. As we were trying to calm things down before leaving, the security guard assaulted one guy in our group by punching him square in the chest and winding him completely. The punch mark was red and visible for hours after. There were 9 of them threatening to beat us up, and only 3 of us (1 girl & 2 guys) trying to remain calm and respectful. Not wanting to start a fight, we left and instead we were followed for about 10 meters down the road by their biggest security guard.

To make things worse the alcohol that they sold us (a bottle of what was meant to be tanqueray gin) was most definitely a bottle of fake alcohol. We only managed to have 2 small glasses of it each before they aggressively kicked us out and we were all horrifically sick after. We hadn’t been drinking prior to going to the club, so it does not make any sense how 3 fully grown adults were so ill after 2 small drinks.

The people that run this establishment are a disgrace to humanity, they should not be allowed to represent Spain and Madrid in such a way. They were menacing and hostile from the get go.

When there are so many places to go and dance and have a good time, you do not need to go here. Serrano 41 should not have a license to operate. They treat their customers like they would treat criminals, if not worse, and they sell fake alcohol, which if mixed incorrectly could kill someone.

Awful. I've been living in Madrid for many years now and this club is the worst I have ever been in. The line to enter is crowded, unorganized, and filled with minors carrying fake IDs. To skip the line, we paid 100€ for a "reservado" (supposed to be like a nice table with a couch and a bottle of alcohol) (we were 4 friends). The bartender gave us a tiny tall table in the middle with a side seat (we had to sit with people that hadn't paid at all) and brought us Gordon's Gin (6€ bottle, cheapest you can get) and 10 sodas. Absolutely A WASTE of money. The music was techno and latino, the crowd was very young (16-18) and there were a couple fights between drunk teenagers. Never ever going to this place again. Un...

The place got much better lately!

Better lights, new bathrooms, premium beverages (Ciroc, Belvedere, Hennessy, Jack, black/green/Gold label, Moet, Dom P, Luc Belaire, veuve Cliquot, Cristal, G Vine, Puerto de indias, RoSEE, ... the vip table got extended and will be even better beginning of january due to new Vip area extension.

Half the staff changed too, new hostess at the door with VIP list
