Food was good old fashioned Spanish food typical during the winter months. This means it was heavy, meant for being out in the cold. The menu had a bit of about anything you can think of within the Spanish cuisine. The wine suggested by the waiter, from their own cellars, was excellent and could be bought by the glass at an affordable price. The morcilla and the chestnut flan were really, really, good! I visited Prada a Tope with my family for a lunch. The experience was mixed. Some foods we ordered were very good (esp. the soup and beef), but the others were too salty/spiced. We had better Spanish food in other places. The waiter was great - very friendly and open - we were able to communicate despite he didn't know much English. The only thing which went wrong, was the final payment - despite I asked him to charge my card in EUR, he selected the local currency of my card - and as many payment provides are using very bad exchange rates that increased the, not so low bill...
