The lunch experience was very terrible. We walked in at 13:35 pm for lunch and they seated us in the storage room when there are plenty of table empty outside even after we finish the meal those tables still remain untouched. One of the waitress with curly hair and fringe was very rude, not sure if she is racist or just unhappy working. They didn’t gave us napkins or tableware after the main dishes being served, we have to walk to the bar and ask for it. The food was below average, if you happen to shop at the market nearby, I don’t recommend to dine in here.

I really fancy Nina Pasta Bar and I visited this new one with my mum last week. We enjoyed the dishes: - Croquetas of parmegiano reggiano cheese (tribute to Adriana Restano from Nina Pasta Bar) - Classic lasagna (it’s a really big portion). - Spaguettone Carbonara (they were really nice and the recipe -of course- is the authentic carbonara 😉). I ordered the cheesecake but it was not my dessert. As a huge fan of cheesecake (not the New Yorker style), I did not enjoy enough this one. But it was good, too sweet, in my opinion.

We had high expectations but were disappointed. On entering the restaurant at 8pm it was very quiet apart from one couple by the window and they seated us right next to this couple despite the rest of the restaurant being empty (6 other tables of two I saw in the main area). The window area is partially sectioned off and I had no view of the restaurant other than the other couple next to us and it felt awkward because we could hear everything they were saying. We ordered 3 starters and one main, the menu is very cheese heavy and the starters (antipasti) we felt were overpriced for the quality. For the main course we ordered ‘grandmothers recipe pasta’ but there was too much caramelised onion and it was too sweet for us to eat. We ordered a vermut and a white wine to start but the serving of wine was very meagre. We then ordered the Aglianico red wine by the bottle because I love this grape variety but the wine was faulty (fizzy and funky) and we couldn’t drink it. A disappointing night all round. One good thing is that they bring you water automatically without charging for it. It’s also very tastefully...

Man, I loved Mandarosso in Barcelona. So I had to check out their Madrid location. When we arrived there was an odd odor in the restaurant. It maybe was related to cleaning materials, but still not the best for the meal.

We ordered the burrata to start. It was good, large portion and very tasty. Then we ordered the classic and Mandarosso lasagna. Unfortunately I could just hear the microwave beeping and the door slamming as my, my wife’s and the only other table’s lasagna being warmed up while waiting for our meal.

Not really the true, home made lasagna I was expecting. The top layer was pretty hard to cut into and I didn’t eat most of it because it just tasted like 1-2 day old lasagna. NOT the same experience as...
