This Asturian restaurant is just off the grand via. It has a large seating area past the front bar and tables in the lane opposite. It was a very hip place with lots of young people meeting up for a drink. The food was ok. The salad was fresh and very large. The stuffed squid looked nothing like the picture on the menu. It was delicious if a little salty. There were 4 pieces not the platter as shown. The bread was pretty stale but once soaked in the juice from the squid was ok. There are bathrooms downstairs opposite the large kitchen. I thought it a little pricey but others think it reasonable. As this is a cider house the traditional way of pouring...

We have visited this place multiple times and the food is always good, it starts with the wonderful bread they serve and the quantity of the menus are sufficient and tasteful. The cider is refreshing and poured in the original way. The quality of the food, pricing and kindness of the staff makes us come back. The only negative point I can think of is that the toilets need to have a make over. The “Cachopo” is very good here and you need help from at least 3 persons to finish it. They serve here on a daily base as well “menu del dia” which is always a surprise but very tasteful. They have a small terrace in the street just in front of...

I recently visited Sidreria La Cuenca in Madrid, and it was an outstanding experience! The service was exceptional, with clear communication that made me feel welcomed right away. As it was my first time in a sidreria, I was unsure of what to order, but the young lady on staff went above and beyond. She expertly demonstrated the traditional Asturian way of serving sidra and guided me through the menu, making the whole experience memorable. The combination of great service and delicious food made my visit fantastic. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Asturian cuisine!
