Real typical Spanish Taperia in Malasana open for lunch and dinner serving rationes and a generous menu del dia: the fish is fresh and cooked on the spot so don't expect anything to come out of the kitchen straight away.Once you have ordered drinks free random tapas are served and a plate of pan con tomate will go a long way to keep you busy while the food arrives. Have a tinto del verano - or two or four 😁 - or a tercio at the bar and eat while the locals pop in and out from the busy street. The service is excellent and the Staff doesn't speak any English but they are kind and eager to please, this is not a tourist trap, just a genuine place to get a good meal and a drink away...

It is a simple and because of that honest and great place. Waiters are usually very fast, however have the "Spanish" friendliness. So don`t expect American smiling, customer centric service. It is a great way to start an evening, have a couple of bears, watch football sitting or standing with a lot of other people in a rather loud atmosphere. Love this place and going there...
