Real typical Spanish Taperia in Malasana open for lunch and dinner serving rationes and a generous menu del dia: the fish is fresh and cooked on the spot so don't expect anything to come out of the kitchen straight away.Once you have ordered drinks free random tapas are served and a plate of pan con tomate will go a long way to keep you busy while the food arrives. Have a tinto del verano - or two or four 😁 - or a tercio at the bar and eat while the locals pop in and out from the busy street. The service is excellent and the Staff doesn't speak any English but they are kind and eager to please, this is not a tourist trap, just a genuine place to get a good meal and a drink away...

We came here after getting a recommendation for some locals, it turned out good. It was such a classic Spanish restaurant, pretty much traditional i could say, was great. The waitress wasn‘t that friendly though, but i think bc it was just too much for him, or i don‘t know why haha, but apart from that, it was all good.

We shared couple of foods, i tbh forgot all the names. But the patatas bravas (8,5/10) never had this good potatoes before. The striped steaks with green peppers (8/8/10) i loved iiit, bread with tomato (8/10) was okay for some appetizers...

It is a great Spanish experience, with great Spanish food such as: Pan-Tomate-Aceite (Bread, Tomatoe and Olive oil), pimientos, jamon and many more. It is a simple and because of that honest and great place. Waiters are usually very fast, however have the "Spanish" friendliness. So don`t expect American smiling, customer centric service. It is a great way to start an evening, have a couple of bears, watch football sitting or standing with a lot of other people in a rather loud atmosphere. Love this place and going there...
