Wok 4 You — Restaurant in Madrid

We just had dinner and was strolling around the neighbourhood when we were drawn to wok4you. We were not hungry but was checking out the menu and the fantastic price, when the owner came by to pass us some promo leaflet. When he informed that the noodles are handmade we knew we had to try! And Nothing compares to the sheer luxury and comfort of handmade noodles! The noodles are incomparable and are the best I’ve ever had in Europe. The texture is firm and has the most amazing chew to it; the meal is filling and complete, it comes with a drink and fried spring rolls ! Decoration wise it’s very basic and clean. The food is served in a to go pack so you can easily just take it to go if you can’t finish it. Yeah you have to try...

Usually, I'm not particularly fond of Chinese cuisine, but I must say that this restaurant has completely transformed my perspective. The food surpassed my expectations and was incredibly delicious. The lady who attended to us and took our order exhibited outstanding friendliness. Additionally, the restaurant is conveniently situated in a desirable location. When we arrived, nearly all the tables were occupied, which is a testament to its popularity. We opted for the con pechuga de pollo and con ternera dishes, both of which were exquisitely flavorful. Al llegar, estuvimos esperando tiempo de más porque abrieron más tarde de las 20:00 ya que otra empleada llegaba tarde. O sea que, para empezar, ya íbamos mal de antemano. Las personas que te atendían fueron majas; sin embargo, la chica que llegó tarde no se sabía muy bien la carta por lo que pudimos escuchar. Los precios los han subido; por lo que es mucho más caro que antes y la relación calidad/precio ya ha dejado de funcionar, no vale la pena. Nada más entrar, las mesas estaban sucias y llenas de grasa y restos que habían dejado las personas que comieran de por la mañana (o incluso del día anterior); lo que quiere decir que no se dignaron en limpiar absolutamente nada, ya que ACABABAN DE ABRIR LA TIENDA Y SEGUÍAN SUCIAS. Pagamos 7,10€ por unos tallarines con pato asado y, para nuestro GRAN disgusto; estaban secos, con una cantidad de salsa de risa (no daba ni para el primer cuarto y el resto te lo comes seco y sin sabor) y vimos que estaban todos los tallarines a granel puestos en un cubo enorme. Es decir, que los cogen de ahí, te los echan, te ponen un cubito también precomprado de salsa, el pato no lo sé; y te cobran 7,10€ por eso. Eran literalmente imposibles de tragar al estar tan secos, si no bebías algo, se te amontonaban en la garganta y no bajaban ni para atrás. Experiencia malísima, no pienso volver y mucho menos recomendarlo. Escuchamos como personas que comieron cerca nuestra comentaban lo extremadamente seca que estaba la comida. Vamos, que llevaban ahí las cajas a granel y la suciedad desde por la mañana o, literalmente, a saber desde cuánto tiempo. Estoy estudiando una ingeniería sobre alimentación y, aunque no haga falta ni estudiar para saber esto, he de decir que seguro que esa comida a granel tanto tiempo sin la conserva adecuada y en un lugar húmedo… debe de haberse infectado con algo. En un ambiente así, las bacterias y los hongos crecen con muchísima facilidad; y MÁS AÚN si no se limpia y hay suciedad de COMIDA. No sé cómo pasan los controles de calidad. No creo que vuelva a ir a un sitio recomendado por un tiktoker....
