Well, we went here as a scouting party to see if La Sala could be a great New Year venue for us and a group of friends. The far from ideal views of one of the roundabouts of Nueva Andalucia can possibly be forgiven, as New Years is celebrated at night, and the party in itself was to be the focus of attention. The lack of parking space is an issue for those not taking a taxi or within walking distance of the restaurant.

We were greeted at the door by a hostess and led to a table, where we (after some effort) could barely squeeze in. You are literally sitting back to back with other guests as the tables and chairs here are packed as tight as possible. It actually reminded me of Ryanair. There is absolutely no possibility of carrying on a private conversation here, as the next table is practically on top of you. To remedy this, they had much too loud trashy Christmas music blaring out over the whole terrace. We ordered fried shrimp for starters, these were slightly overdone, but what called my attention was the price, 22 € for 4 shrimps. One would expect perfection at that price. Shrimps were followed by a Thai green curry, nothing special and here the rice was undercooked (some grains still hard). My second glass of wine was whisked away before I had finished it (strangely enough not my wife’s, only mine), and the behaviour of one the young girls attending us was worth writing a separate letter to management about. Perhaps she had earlier worked at Ryanair.

Needless to say, we did not book for New Year, nor will I be going back to this mediocre venue anytime soon. When we headed out, a grim looking bouncer had taken the place at the door, which speaks in itself I suppose for what can be expected here of the rest of the night. There was absolutely nothing attractive about La Sala. Marbella is practically brimming with much better...

I have been going to La Sala in the port for many years, but I am always pleasantly surprised at how not only each year, but each time I go how much I enjoy myself and my Family. Last night was so amazing I thought I would do this review, it is about time I came out and said it ⭐️ la Sala you deserve 5 ⭐️for the divine food ⭐️the presentation ⭐️the service from loveliest of staff 🌟the upkeep of the restaurant you obviously keep reinvesting to keep the restaurant looking it’s best year after year ⭐️ 🎵 🌟

If I could I would give you another for amazing location ⭐️ Valet parking ⭐️ and taxi rank right outside your entrance 🌟 if you had ZAZU App that would be another ⭐️

Thank you so much for been la Sala a fantastic place to visit 👊💫💫💫

I went again to wonderful La Sala Valentine’s 25 everything again fantastic. I insisted we all go because Barry White tribute band were playing. We were all very much looking forward to our night. Very Very unfortunately when I was booking it 10 days in advance the receptionist absolutely did not explain that The Tribute Band were in a separate room all she asked is where I would like to sit ? We opted for outside NOT understanding how the night events would be hosted IE separately…. I was in trouble with my Friends all were disappointed.

The rest of the evening everything else was as always over decades fantastic especially the night been so incredibly packed the floor team and kitchen should get a bonus they were all amazing. Some extra training with whom ever answers the...

Last Friday night we went for the first time to La Sala with our friends who were over in hols and our experience was far from satisfactory. On arrival we presumed that the car park to the right of the restaurant was for customers, three of us went into the restaurant and my husband waited while I informed the girl on reception that my husband was waiting and she said she would go and get him and took us to our table, I again said so your going to get my husband and she haughtly said yes madam!!! Over 10 mins later and still no sign of my hubby so I went to the desk and another girls informed me it was staff parking and the valet parking was indeed up above the restaurant!!! I went outside in the rain and told my husband he had to move the car!!!

Finally we got to sit down and the staff continued to chat amount each other and ignore the few early diners, I had to call over a waiter to order drinks, then it turns out we were given the wrong menus as we had a cool deal voucher!

Waitress then informed us after a half hour had passed that we had to vacate the table within a hour! Shocking service!!!! Food arrived!! Presented nice but very disappointing! My veg Thai curry drowned in lemon grass so inedible!

All in all a very disappointing night! Staff simply not intrested so very poor service, poor attuides, music too loud for dining and food extremely disappointing!

First and last time we would visit this restaurant and I'm sorry but definitely not a restaurant we would recommend! Best part was...

We went there for breakfast but the place isn't what it used to be a few years ago.La Sala was renowned for everything being exquisite, from service to atmosphere to people and everything else. Now, all the wannabes were there, sharing a plate just to post on social media. It was extremely crowded, very noisy, loud people, everything was sloppy, no attention to detail whatsoever, the glasses were either dirty, either sctratched not being replaced for years, the bathrooms dirty and it looked like no one cleaned them for quite some time. The cava we asked for (by glass-not bottle-as it was early morning) was poor quality, the coffee as well, we letf them untouched. For taking the order, the girl arrived pretty fast but we waited for a long time to ask for the check. The food was indeed very good, at least the dish we ordered. It was some hash browns with sausage in them, eggs and avocado and it was super tasty, so if you visit La Sala for breakfast, i totally recommend this dish. It's called Iberian Chorizo Breakfast Hash.
