This was by far our best meal on Gran Canaria and in fact one of our better experiences with Italian food (despite several trips to Italia). The food is clearly made with time and passion. The restaurant is small in size and can easily be overlooked if you don't know what to look for. Make sure to sit down and enjoy a quiet, calm atmosphere lifted by the chef occasionally singing along to Italian ballads.
We had the ravioli with salmon and tortillini with fruit de mare and found an intensely flavourful saus, freshly made pasta and foccacia on the side baked like a pizza (the most flavourful foccacia I have had and I will make foccacia this way in the future).
This is a truly charming restaurant with great quality food beyond the modest size of the restaurant kept by people who clearly has a genuine passion for their work. The friendly, trustful, home-like atmosphere is frankly also a far cry from the pushy tourist traps along the beach...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming restaurant in Mogán, and it was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere that truly captured the essence of Italy. The food was homemade and absolutely delicious, with vibrant flavors that transported me straight to the heart of Italy.
The presentation of each dish was stunning, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and passion for their craft. Adding to the delightful ambiance, Italian music played softly in the background, and I was even treated to the chef singing through the kitchen hatch, creating a lively and authentic experience.
I stumbled upon this gem while exploring the area and made a reservation on a whim. I’m so glad I did because it has quickly become my new favorite restaurant. If you find yourself in Mogán, this place is definitely...
Read moreWe had a great experience at this restaurant! We started with a garlic bread appetizer, which was very tasty, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of flavour. We then ordered two pizzas Prosciutta and Diabola, both were delicious, with a crispy base and fresh and well balanced ingredients. The Diabola had just the right amount of spice! The prices were very affordable, especially considering the quality of the food. The staff were super friendly, and the owners were genuinely kind and welcoming you can tell they care about their guests. To finish, we had a tiramisu that was absolutely delicious, creamy and with just the right sweetness. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxed, with lots of families and couples. A lovely place to enjoy a quiet and tasty meal. We’ll definitely be...
