WOW what can I say... wish I could give it 7 stars 🌟 Firstly when we arrived we had to wait 4 days to get a table as this place is small but very highly rated. The food here is truly exceptional and I can honestly say you'd place is the best restaurant in Gran Canaria, maybe even the Canaries and I've never had an Italian as good as this place. The male chef is truly an artist as i know his wife is,, so many awards around on the walls including the no1 World Pizza Champions in Napoli.
I tried the recommended starter which is cheese and tomato with a bread lid,, the sauce is amazing and EVERYBODY loved it. I had to have the El Graupo pizza which won the world pizza championship and I've got to day it's the best bloody pizza I've ever tasted bar none,,, the flavours on this are amazing and the base is a thin as you could possibly make. He truly is a master professional with dough. Also the Tagliatelle with prawns n saffron with a bread lid again is amazing and so flavoursome. We ended up eating here out last 2 nights and everybody was amazed by the food and I'd of happily eaten here the entire week. This restaurant made our hollyday and to say ill be back, I can honestly say I will only ever stay on Puerto Mogan now when I visit Gran Canaria as ask the restaurants we visited we had lovely meals but this place is truly very special and worth booking a holiday just to eat in here and that's what we'll be doing as soon as possible, just to come back to A Casa Mia... BRAVO 👏 👏 👏, you really did make a big impression and amazingly...
Read more** May 2025 update. We've just had our third fabulous meal here, and it's as excellent as it always was. Enjoy your holiday in Italy next month, you all deserve it as you work so, so hard.
**May 2024 If you enjoy Italian food, you need to eat here. It's certainly advisable to book in advance as this is a small restaurant with limited spaces. Having just eaten some fabulous pasta, we were amazed at how two people could manage everything (cooking, serving, cleaning, takeaway requests, etc.) in such a compact space.....amazing. I have read reviews complaining about the "wait" during service, but we never felt this was a problem. Other restaurants may serve you faster, but few will serve you better. We look forward to returning I'm a few days. ** Upadte - having just had a fabulous lunch here, we can also confirm the pizzas are outstanding. Having had a very tasty garlic prawn starter (with a nice touch of a little chilli), we had two fabulous pizzas. The Carnosa was realiy tasty, but the La Guapa pizza was wonderful, and I can fully appreciate why this won the world title for best pizza. We cannot wait to eat here again when we return to the...
Read moreThis is easily one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever visited. Run by just two incredibly hardworking and friendly individuals, this cozy little spot exudes charm and warmth. While you may have to wait a bit for your food, it’s entirely understandable—there’s only one chef, and everything is prepared fresh to order. Trust me, the wait is absolutely worth it.
We started with the Queso Provolone, which was so delicious we found ourselves scraping every last bit from the plate. Next came the highlight—an award-winning pizza that was both creative and wonderfully executed.
The restaurant itself is picturesque and inviting, making it a perfect place to enjoy a relaxed meal. I truly loved everything about my visit and would definitely return if...
