Ever since we, as a family, started visiting the island from the late 1980s early 1990s, there's always been a bar/restaurant run by the Dennehy family in a prime spot in Puerto Mogan. At the moment Billy and Sylvia, that's brother and sister are offering 2 alternative dining experiences, with menu's to suit everybody. Billy's restaurant was not open, so I went to Sylvia's and she does a fancy range of food specialities to a very high standard and good prices. However when I said I often eat the more traditional food both she and her chefs offered to cook exactly what I wanted and I experienced a rib eye steak, cooked perfectly to medium well done, with fried onions and French fries. To finish the meal off I enjoyed a beautiful Bailey's cheesecake, which is handmade by Sylvia herself, and which was always a favorite of my wife before she sadly passed away just a few years ago. Ever since, when me and my daughter have visited, we've always ordered that dessert in her memory and again it was very beautifully decorated with sauces and cream and exceptionally tasty. No half measures with the Bailey's haha. We eventually ordered 2 cocktails from her, again no talk. She brought then soon after. We drank up and left she couldn't even say thank you when we paid. Such a shame as we noticed the restaurant is Irish owned and a nice menu, hard to understand why they would employ someone so unfriendly with no customer service skills whatsoever. We're here for a few days with a party of 6 people who would have...

This gorgeous restaurant has a prime spot on the marina.
We were greeted by a warm friend waiter who was clearly busy but understood the value of hospitality.
Then we were met by who I assume was the owner. What a great manner.
My beer came slightly shot measured but she assured me the barrel needed changing and she thought I looked thirsty. Sure enough once I'd had a healthy mouth full she took it and filled it up again.
The cokes are in 350ml bottles.
The food, portions and prices are all in the customers favour.
All the staff on customer front facing all were appealing in their manner.
Clearly well run
Thoroughly recommend...
