Brasa Madre Restaurante SOLO ADULTOS +12 — Restaurant in Palma

The food and atmosphere were very nice but the service… our waiter was aggressive and embarrassed and insulted us in front of the whole room (in the typical Spanish way, speaking very loudly). With good intentions I went to the back of the room to him to give him some constructive feedback about customer service and he got even angrier and insulted me even more than before. I paid the bill and left but what started as a nice evening was completely ruined. I regret every cent spending there and it was one of these horrible Mallorca experiences that made me decide to leave the island (I‘m a resident. The arrogance and false pride of the locals is shocking. Practically nothing works here, everything is inefficient, unreliable and broken. Nothing to be proud of but instead blaming foreigners for their self produced misery...

Fantastic find in the centre of Palma.

The value of steak was outstanding (€29 for tenderloin fillet which you wouldn’t get in England).

My partner mistakenly ordered a fizzy rosé and the staff swapped it for a still rosé with no fuss (much appreciated).

We sat down at 7pm in an empty restaurant - the atmosphere picked up from 7:30pm.

Only niggle would be the potatoes could’ve done with a few more minutes cooking. We were served olives without requesting them (thinking complimentary) but ended up on our bill.

My wife and I came across Brasa Madre after searching online and let me tell you now this is the best steak we have both ever eaten.

To pay 29 euros for a tenderloin of that quality is unheard of back in England, the side dishes of Mallorcan potatoes and roasted mini peppers were to die for and the chimchuri sauce accompanied the steak perfectly.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting palma and wanting high quality food at a good price
