Diablito — Restaurant in Palma

Terrible actitud del camarero. Llegamos a las 12:30pm, a pesar de que habían muchas mesas libres en la terraza, decidimos sentarnos en el interior del restaurante ya que el día estaba húmedo. Mi mujer y yo temíamos mochilas y varias bolsas, todas las mesas en el interior estaban disponibles, así que fuimos a sentarnos en una mesa con cuatro sillas, para poder sentarnos cómodamente (dos mochilas y dos bolsas grandes). El camarero, muy rudamente, nos hablo es Ingles para decirnos que teníamos que sentarnos en una mesa para dos. Nos pareció ridículo (estaba vacío), pero le indicamos que hablamos Español y fuimos a una mesa para dos. Acto seguido mientras nos sentábamos, el mismo camarero, se aproximó a la mesa y literalmente lanzo los menús a la mesa. Como pueden entender, no tenemos por que aceptar este trato, decidimos irnos, antes de pasar un mal rato con una persona así. Este caballero es alto y tiene acento Argentino (o similar). Hemos comido anteriormente en este Diablito, la comida es buena, pero no volveremos! Al menos no mientras este individuo siga trabajando en el restaurante.

Terrible waiter. We arrived at 12:30pm, even though there were many available tables on the terrace, we decided to seat inside because it was a humid and a bit warm. My wife and I, both had backpacks and shopping bags, since ALL the tables were empty we decided to take a four chair table, to be comfortable. Well, the waiter, in a very rude way speaking in English voiced us to seat at a two chair table. We replied to him that we also speak Spanish and still thinking that it was ridiculous, we went to a two chair table. Next thing, while we were taking a seat, the waiter approached the table and literally threw the menus on the table. Husband and I stopped to eat here after shopping at the mall. Service was quick and friendly. Food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the smoked salmon salad and wow it's been over a week since I've had it and i can't stop thinking about it. So good!! It comes with an ample amount of smoked salmon as well as avocado. Well worth the €14. The papas bravas were also a hit with my husband. So crispy and the sauce it comes with is a delicious smoky paprika sauce. We recently dined at Diablito in Mallorca and were thoroughly impressed. The food was fantastic, with a great variety of options and a nice specialty pizza. The potatoes were especially delicious. The location of the restaurant was perfect, adding to the overall dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, making for great service. We would also highly recommend the sangrias, they were very nice. And on top of all that, the prices were reasonable.
