Block House Porto Pi — Restaurant in Palma

Delicious and juicy beef but very bad service!

It was our first time dining at Block House. It was around lunch time so we decided to order the classic block burger. At first we were a little disappointed because it looked a little dry without any sauces BUT we were so wrong. The beef was juicy and tasted amazing. Very good taste of peber! The sour cream was creamy and good. I wasn't impressed by the coleslaw. Not sure if it was the amount or taste but it didn't really do much...

We came around lunch time and there was 3 waiters at work - two older and one younger girl. The older ones were nice but at some point they went to had lunch and the younger girl stepped in. She was moody and slow even though the whole restaurant only had like 6-8 customer. She never smiled and when we asked for the bill she just threw it on the table when she walked passed us. She didn't even look at us which I think is very bad service. We were paying for the food so she could at least act like she cared. Maybe she had a tough day but her attitude towards every customers in the restaurant...

My partner and I sat down at a dirty table on Saturday 9th November at about 14.30. It was clearly busy and not enough staff were working. We waited around 10 minutes with no service. We then moved to another table (also dirty) which was closer to where the waiter and waitress were milling about. We waited another 10 minutes at which point a waiter walked past. I said 'Hola' and made eye contact. He muttered something to himself and walked off. I understand it was busy but it wasn't completely full and we were being very patient but this waiter was extremely rude so we got up and left. Shame as the view from the terrace is exceptional. Just one rude staff...

The worst restaurant I have ever been! We waited for 2 hours for our drinks, and another hour for our food. The place was not even full and we needed to wait this much. The steak and the fat layer on the side of the steak was blend, raw and gummy. Even the potato was tasteless. The wine was the best, because they didn't make it. I am totally disappointed. After this disappointment I asked for the bill, waited another 30-40 minutes and then I walked to the waitress myself to pay. She didn't understand we wanted to pay separetly so after 15 minutes of paying ritual (we needed to pay it off the bill line by line) we were...
