This place is a clear example of how disparage reviews can be from reality as it's really far away from being a 4.4 star average. To begin with the place, it's nice, a bit too dark and they seem to be having some issue with no one understanding how to open the entrance door. We got a nice big table inside and the staff were extremely friendly and nice to us from the beginning, to my taste even a bit too much, not a complaint about that, just pointing it out that sometimes less is more.
I think this place is way overrated and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go, tasteless expensive food. We ordered a few starters and had the option of tasting a few others, and while the food was eatable, I couldn't find any distinguishable flavours. The main dishes took quite some time to arrive, and I was shocked by the size of my main dish, especially for something that costs close to 30 euros and barely had three pieces of duck in it and some vegetables.
I couldn't believe it, so I asked if it was the right plate or if it was a mistake, and to my surprise, that was actually the plate I ordered. Seeing my reaction, the manager offered me another portion, which was really nice of him, but that didn't help much either. The duck was like any other you would find in a cheaper place, way too fatty and jelly-like, and the vegetables that came with it were too sour despite having a big amount of pineapple in it, which for me was the best part of the dish. I also tried some other main dishes from my colleagues, and while the food was not bad, it was also lacking in taste.
Thankfully, we didn't order dessert because we had reached our allocated time for the table and had to leave. So we asked for the bill, and thanks to a friend who had a 30% discount, I didn't pass out when I was told the amount. I've never seen such crazy prices on simple beer bottles, and although I know dining places take a huge benefit from selling drinks, I still found it excessive to pay 8-10 euros per bottle.
jIf anyone wants to try authentic Thai cuisine, I would strongly encourage them to stay away from this place; it is...
Read moreWell let’s start by saying that this is one of the best culinary experiences I have had in a long time. We were greeted by the hostess, Camilla (kamilla) and we were seated at a nice small table in the middle of the restaurant.
I got to enjoy a singah beer before dinner as the dishes started to roll in. We were invited for some homemade vegetarian spring rolls which were really nice along with some amazing spicy edamame! My mate and I really enjoyed this touch by the kitchen.
We started off with the beef salad which was incredible, tender beef, flavorful cucumber and an amazing sauce. This was the perfect way to start the dinner. As we were finishing up we received the chicken wings and in general I don’t enjoy dry rubs that much but my god, this was absolutely stunning. PACKED with flavor and juicy chicken, there was nothing to complain about.
We proceeded to receive the iberico saam. The flavor was 1000% there and is an amazing way to share food. The iberico was amazing and suuuuper tender. It was a 11/10 dish and is a MUST if you come here.
Our last main dish was the bao beef burgers that were also very very nice.
We proceded to have a cocktail, “de Jalisco a Bangkok”, which was a super nice mezcal and tequila blended cocktail. We later ordered dessert. The sticky rice… this has to be top 3 desserts I have had in my life. Do not miss this experience, because this dessert was refreshing, complete and amazing through and through!
The prices were fair and all the service staff were amazing! Even the new-higher felt very experienced.
Thank you for this evening, would...
Read moreWow, what an unforgettable dining experience we had last night!
We started off with the most delicious, crispy spring rolls and perfectly seasoned edamame, which set the tone for the entire evening. For starters, we also had the chicken satay, which was a statement dish on its own, and the aubergine miso, which was absolutely delicious.
For the main course, I chose the green Thai curry, and I can confidently say it was the best I’ve ever had. The flavors were incredibly vibrant, and the presentation was so beautiful, it almost felt like a shame to dig in! My friends were equally blown away by their choices—one had the rich, flavorful duck curry, while the other enjoyed the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef. Every dish was executed to perfection.
The cocktails were another highlight—expertly mixed, inventive, and completely unique. They really elevated the entire dining experience.
I’ve been raving about this place ever since, and a friend of ours who lives in Palma has already made a reservation after hearing how much we loved it. I can't...
