Probably the best food we had in Mallorca! Great atmosphere, the menu seemed irrelevant, but the waiters told us what read available and make recommendations, etc. The cod with aeoli was excellent, and very reasonably priced. This is for you if you're interested in great food as the priority, rather than the trappings of posh restaurants (this is the opposite of the candle-lit dinner vibe!) Took us a minute to find it though as it's in the corner of the internal market, not in the middle of the crossroads as Google...

Lo mejor de lo mejor. El espacio antológico, la comida de órdago. El servicio, afabilidad y simpatía, lo mejor. Unos imprescindibles del mercado de Santa Catalina, generosos y buena gente.

Voy siempre que puedo con mi esposa e hija o con mis amigos.

Lo más recomendable no sólo del Mercado, sino del Barrio, habida cuenta la turistificación y gentrificación extrema que sufre el barrio.

Local de toda la vida donde disfrutar de las gastronomía mallorquina como un mallorquín. Cultura culinaria de muchos tenedores y poco postureo. Abstenerse ir en horas punta, lo inteligente es ir temprano y ser valiente, ponerse a por un variat mallorquí sin miedo ni demora.

This typical indoor market eatery was superb. We managed to avoid the tripe and other more challenging ingredients in the Raciones thanks to the very helpful staff. The food came quickly, was fresh and beautifully complemented by the cold wine and beer. The prices are very reasonable and there are definitely more locals than tourists eating there. I would recommend...
