AVOID!!

It's a really shame, as potentially this place could be really good. Unfortunately the owner has no clue about customer service. He is rude and very unfriendly. It's supposed to be all about the wine, but we were never offered a single wine to try, you have to order a glass. He also over charged us, even though we spent €45 there. My wife asked for the house Rose, and stuck with it to keep the costs down, and when the bill came he said he had served us 3 glasses of something else that was 30% more expensive. When we queried it, he said "Maybe you should try somewhere else". Good advice to all his potential customers.

As wine lovers we were keen to try it, and got there at the advertised 5:30 pm. We were about to leave (which we should have), when he turned up at 5:45 to open, saying he had had a late night the night before. No apology. Sums up his attitude to...

A small, lovely bar-restaurant, which offers very good tastes of Mallorca. It's placed in a very quiet and nice corner of Palma, behind the cathedral, so it's perfect for couples and friends that want to engage in long conversations while drinking wine. Nothing exceptional about the wine list and the selection of charcuterie. But all genuine tastes and very good value for money. And most importantly: a friendly staff who will tell you the best places to see in Mallorca...and will give you amazingly good advice! We spent a very good time here (me and my husband). I suggest you the rosado wine from Mallorca, fresh but with some wood notes, perfect for white and red...

This part of town is famous for its tourist traps... BUT NOT LA VINYA!

In fact, it's probably one of the few places that one can truly enjoy the ambience and atmosphere of the medieval city surrounded by good people and even better wine. And if you're hungry, they've got you covered. Snackish? That too. The excellent variety of the classic "Tapas" come in all sizes and are wallet-friendly.

And just in case you're wondering, i don't work here. I just fell in love...
