!!A BIG NO GO!!
EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF.
On arrival, had to wait five minutes for the old woman to get off her phone to seat us. We requested to sit in the sunshine where other people were sat, and eating. Only to be told we are not allowed because they had ânot enough staff to serve over that side of the restaurantâ. Bizarre.
When we sat down, they asked if we would like water on our table. We said yes please. Only to later on be charged $7 for this.
Eventually after a long wait we had our order taken. One of us ordered a ham and cheese toastie - only to be told she couldnât have that because of the time of day. The table next to us were eating x2 ham and cheese toasties. Outrageous.
We tried to leave the restaurant after placing our order, the woman was putting it through the till and we decided that actually we wanted to go somewhere else and more friendly, only to be told we werenât allowed to leave without paying for the full amount even though the food had not even gone through yet. So we ended up staying of course to eat what we had to pay in full for.
Our order arrived. We ordered x4 chips and only received 3. The steak was over done. However the tiny amount of bell pepper was delicious, probably the only good thing youâll hear in this review. The chips were full of fishy grease. The monk fish crockets were disgusting. We asked for some condiments and a steak knife, 20 minutes later these finally arrived so we ate our cold lunch. Not a very good first meal on our holiday. The price was extortionate for what we had and the foul service.
We stood waiting to pay for a ridiculously long time. And on exit, a waiter barged his way through two of us nearly scatting us over.
Staff were arguing and very unprofessional and damn right rude. We will never be visiting again. These staff need to have a serious word with themselves and management need to put their staff through hospitality training.
The best part of this restaurant, was leaving. What a waste of a beautiful location...
Read moreOver priced and definitely over rated! This place came highly recommended to us, so I have to admit that we went there with high expectation. The very attractive location and how busy it was didnât help with bringing our level of expectations to a realistic level. We were welcomed by the floor manager and shown to our table from a distance. As we are sitting down, another waiter that was serving the next table, stopped us from committing the act of sitting down and asked us if we have a reservation and if we have talked to the manager to be seated first. He was relieved when our answers was yes! I mean come on, chill. Anyways, we sat down, got the menu, and by the way you need to order the bread and garlic cream that we got used to being served upon arrival. Beyond the fact that it was mediocre and obviously not fresh, we were shocked by the price of the bread. One piece of not so fresh bread is for 1.5euro!! Yes for real! See picture attached. Other places in Mallorca will serve a basket of bread for the same price, and they will refill. We also ordered house wine that was fine but not amazing, fried calamar, meh. However the Croquetas were really nice, hence the one start in this review. We left after like 30 mins. Anyways, if you are someone who enjoys authentic experience where you can feel the generosity of your host, this is not the place for you, it...

As we were walking up it looked like there was no one in the place (that is normally the sign that you need to avoid somewhere) but it's not until you walk in the entrance you realise where everyone is, the place was packed... And for good reason - great restaurant.
We had a variety of different dishes from oysters to prawns, some paella, a couple of different fish courses and a some tapas. All fabulous, really well presented and tasted great. The staff were helpful and spent time with us to understand our options - which we needed to understand the menu.
If I have have one comment to the management, the menu took a while to get your head around. So many options, some pricing via weight, some per portion, some fixed price. For example I think you could potentially have 3 different types of paella with 6 options. I get why you have done it, as lobster is more expensive than prawns, but you may want to simplify this...
The staff were brilliant at explaining the options, if what you were ordering went well and what wine etc. Very attentive, helpful and added to the experience.
It was a lovely evening and the food was excellent. If you are looking for some fine dining focused around seafood, then this is...
