We booked a table for 21:00 four days in advance, to end our romantic holiday in the best way possible.
We arrived at 20:50, and were told our table was not ready. Without any nice places to sit and wait inside, we waited outside instead.
As we were waiting, no one left the restaurant, and since we were not called for, we decided to ask at 21:00 for how long we had to wait. However our table at the balcony were ready at this point.
The atmosphere was great, but sitting down, the table was not stable. At this price point, you should expect everything to be in perfect order.
As we entered the restaurant, we were playing an online live quiz, that for this day had been postponed, and unfortunately also started at 21:00. It took 10 minutes, but as a customer, again at this price point, we do expect to be allowed to finish these kind of things.
At 21:10, we told the waitress that we were ready for a menu card. Probably 10 minutes passed, and at around 21:20, when the waitress asked us if we were ready to order. We had not yet gotten a menu card, and was told that we had to use our phones though a QR code to see what we wanted.
As we knew what food we wanted, we told the waitress that we wanted the Sole for €37 and the Angus Beef for €38. We also told the waitress to come back in 5 minutes, so we could order some wine.
Now 15 to 20 minutes passed before we were allowed to order a bottle of white wine, and at 21:45, our wine arrived at the same time as the food.
We had now missed the opportunity to enjoy the wine, sitting on the balcony, and talking about how great a holiday we had had.
We complained about the wine arriving this late, and the waitress started to go into an argument with us. The waitress accused us of coming late, which is why we didn't get any wine before 21:45. We told her we didn't need the wine anymore. As a compensation, she wanted to give us a glass of wine on the house. A nice idea, but when she poured maybe 1,5 cm of wine in the glasses, it felt more like a slap in the face.
The fish was fair, and juicy, but served on the side, was four small mushrooms topped with half a cherry tomatoe each. Some rucola with no added flavours.
The beef was cooked perfectly, and the side dishes were good.
At no point from entering, we felt welcome in the restaurant. And we quickly asked for the check, which was just above €90. As the waitress arrived with the check, she asked if the food was good, now the service had been horrible, as to start an argument or something. And just after that, she tried to sell even more. That extra sale felt out of place, as they knew we were not satisfied in any way.
Even though the fish was average, and the beef above average, the service and the general feeling we were left with as a whole, compared to the price, we can not give our recommendations...

Despite making a reservation two months in advance and specifically requesting a window table away from the main area due to two strollers, the restaurant failed to fulfill our basic expectations.
Upon arrival, we were dismayed to find that the restaurant had given away our requested window table, claiming that all other reserved tables were occupied. Despite voicing our concerns about the inconvenience of having two strollers in the middle of the dining area, the staff seemed indifferent and showed no effort to find a suitable solution.
What added to our frustration was the dismissive attitude we encountered from the restaurant staff. They treated us as if our preferences were insignificant and didn't even attempt to rectify the situation. Despite kindly requesting an alternative arrangement for over 40 minutes, the staff's lack of concern ultimately forced us to abandon the celebration we had looked forward to.
As someone who appreciates the finer aspects of dining, I must express my disappointment in the level of service and attention to detail provided. It's disheartening to think that our special occasion was tarnished by the restaurant's inability to accommodate our reasonable request, especially when we had planned and reserved so far in advance.
In conclusion, my 30th birthday celebration at [Fancy Restaurant] was an enormous letdown. The disregard for our reservation preferences and the inability to find a suitable seating arrangement for two strollers were unacceptable. I expected much more from a restaurant that prides itself on being 'fancy' and professional. Sadly, the overall experience left a bitter taste, and I cannot recommend this establishment to others looking for a memorable and accommodating...

However, I don't recommend them to choose for special occasions because they are not professional and don't know how to do catering. Let me start by saying that I have made reservations in famous restaurants all over the world and nothing like this has ever happened to me. I choose the Marivent paradise to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. I write an email (3 weeks in advance) to explain exactly the table I would have wanted, the special occasion etc. I receive an automatic email telling me that they don't take reservations via email except for large tables and directing me to the automatic booking link. Once on the site, I directly book the seat I wanted and include in the notes/special requests that I have a child who doesn't eat because I need a high chair. When they arrive at the restaurant they see the child and say that it is not possible to give us the booked table because it is only suitable for 2 people and not 3 seats. We were given a table in the third row inside, in short, not at all suitable for the occasion and for which I would not have driven 50 minutes to go to that restaurant. I find it unprofessional that we did not read the notes before which would have allowed the choice of a different table, but still a first row on the terrace and not on the balcony. I find it unprofessional that I was not notified of this issue sooner. I find it unprofessional that during dinner they did not try to make up for their mistake neither by offering us anything nor by paying any attention to the final bill.
