Food: We had burgers; The bacon cheese burger and the Jupiter BBQ burger. The portion size was hefty with wedge potatoes, which also tasted good. The mayonnaise served with the wedges was tasty as well.
Service: Very polite, offering to speak English. Attentive. As the restaurant wasn't busy at the time, the wait time was short. Getting the check was quick, too. In general, a pleasant late lunch!
Drinks: Water price was reasonable at 2.70. Fresh orange juice was cold and tasty. Cafe Americano ok.
Atmosphere: We sat outdoors on the part of the establishment further up the street. The terrace faced the street, so there were cars and buses going by, but it wasn't intrusive and we were able to have a normal discussion. Good spot for people watching!
Prices: Two burgers, water and orange juice was about 43€. Good burgers, so, no complaints...
Read moreI really dislike leaving bad reviews, however, there are a lot better restaurants we ate at in the area! The atmosphere and drinks were great. We ordered the vegetable paella. The rice in parts was not cooked, and it was largely what looked like frozen vegetables as the main part of the dish which cost us €37. There were some fresh veg such as artichoke which was quite tasty. It wasn't terrible but on reflection absolutely not worth the money. The waiter was not very welcoming but friendly enough, however, at the end pushed us twice to leave a tip which we weren't impressed at! Normally, we enjoy leaving quite large tips but did not feel obliged due to the service and the food. The meat dishes may be lovely - it seems so from the other reviews! (La Tapera over the street is much much nicer and the best tapas we've ever had and cheaper if you...
Read moreIt's a nice restaurant with great food and good service. There is no exceptional surrounding, it's directly on the street, but overall nice.
The paella is amazing, hands down. Nicely cooked, lots of meat and vegetables. It's not cheap, but worth the money and 2 can get full from it.
I still give the restaurant 5 stars even though the servers were a bit strange. When paying, they ask every customer whether they want to leave a tip and in a weird way. They point out how much the bill is and then ask whether you would like to tip. This act makes it, at least me, more likely not to tip, as a tip is something you give for nice service and not because the server pointed it out to you and put you on the spot to make it awkward to say no.
I recommend the restaurant to stop asking for tips all the time and just let the...
