Lovely Beach with Room for Improvement

Platja de Cala Mayor is a delightful spot in Palma. The beach's fine, golden sand and clear blue waters make it a favorite for both locals and tourists. However, the beach can get quite crowded, especially during peak season. Arriving early is a good idea if you want to secure a good spot especially that the beach is quite small in size. Also, while the water is generally clean, occasional seaweed can be a minor inconvenience.

Parking is available but can be tricky to find, so consider using public transport if possible. The nearby bus stop offers easy access to the rest of Palma, making it convenient for a day trip.
