My family and I had a very bad experience here, it only took a few minutes after we sat down for things to go bad. We asked the waitress for water and not sure if there were some kind of miscommunication but she walked away and started saying stuff to other tables and pointing at us. Clearly she was saying something bad about us, the other patrons were all looking at us and shaking their heads. We were so confused. She repeated whatever she was saying to the other waiter that was working. When he came over we asked him what seems to be the issue, we said we would like some water, coffee and tapas. He just kept repeating "it's impossible". We said we will pay for the water if that's the issue and he repeated again it's impossible. We looked at each other and thought is he saying he doesn't want to serve us? I tried to tell him we would like to order some cappuccino and food but he refused to look at me and pretended I didn't exist. My child come off the chair after dinner to sit in her pram and drop the cushion from the chair on to the floor but as we didn’t think it was a big deal and didn’t see it on floor. Spanish waitress rudely come over with horrible attitude and a slap face on her, picking it up mumbling something but what was the big deal. It was a cushion that would have been changed or clean as it was the end of the night. She was so horrible about it. So I give 2stars as 1 star for ok food and 1 star to our actual waitress who was a lovely nice black lady apologised to us as we were leaving as she knew that the way that the other waitress was to us, was nasty. And Because we left her a tip. No need to be so nasty to paying customers. The waiter consistently displayed impatience, snide remarks, and a lack of professionalism. This behavior tarnished the overall dining experience and created an unwelcoming atmosphere.
I strongly urge the management of Simbad to address this issue promptly. Such conduct should never be tolerated, as it reflects poorly on the establishment and undermines customer satisfaction.
Based on this distressing encounter, I cannot recommend to others. The disrespectful behavior of the older male waiter overshadowed any positive aspects of the visit, leaving me deeply...
