Yesterday we thought we were in for a treat at a good restaurant behind the pinxtos bar. The food was good, but served way too fast. We asked if they could please slow down, which they did not. 2 times they wanted to take away a plate with still food on it because one of us was not finished, 2 times they wanted to take away a half full wine glass.

My partner is allergic to peanuts, which we stated in the reservation and again when we arrived. After 2 bites of the 6th course my partner had a severe allergic reaction to peanuts hidden in the sauce. We asked the waitress, she said ‘no there is no peanut in there’. We asked again, she said laughingly ‘ok, maybe a little bit but that’s not so bad right?’ As my partner stormed out to get to the toilet because of his severe allergic reaction, I went back inside to deal with the waitress and tell her to call a taxi or ambulance immediately. The night ended in the ambulance and on top of everything they said that it was not their fault and accidents can happen. They blamed us for the allergic reaction because we asked them to please slow down.

Accidents can happen but blaming us for their mistakes cannot. Furthermore, accidents with allergies can be very dangerous. Would never go to this place if you have an allergy, they don’t take it seriously only after you have an...

Great experience. The entrance is misleading in the sense that it looks like a regular pinxo local, which it is but with a cool twist of high gastronomy experience… now, the actual restaurant is deep inside the local after a door, where the environment changes and gives you a feel close to a hidden kitchen. We ordered the equivalent of the house red wine which was great for the chuleton (tomahawk) we order as principal. We also had some iberico ham and beef croquetas for starters. Everything was great. When visiting Pamplona this place is a must-visit! The first day I arrived in Pamplona I visited their bar for a quick bit and had very good pinchos (their famous bomb looking one included)! Most of what I tried was delicious! A couple of days later I made reservations for dinner with a group of friends and we were all surprised with the quality of the food and service! Make sure you try their steak and the slow cooked beef ribs, these two dishes are incredible!!!! I will keep this one in my rotation every time I visit Pamplona!!!

After spending 10 days eating my way through Northern Spain, I can confidently say that Baserriberri in Pamplona served me the very best pintxos of the entire trip. Every single bite was bursting with creativity, flavour, and pure joy. If you come here, don’t overthink it, just order all of their special pintxos. Every one of them is a masterpiece, beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious. Each dish feels like a small work of art, both in presentation and taste, and they truly deliver on the “wow” factor.
