Cafe Orquidea — Restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz

We discovered this delightful Cafe nestled in the beauty of the Jardin Orquidea on Sitrio Litre. The host, Kelly, is a lovely lady and incredibly welcoming. We booked a cream tea and were blown away. The sandwiches were delicious, the cakes were incredible and the home made scones, made by Kelly's mum, are divine. It was so lovely that we booked another cream tea for our 25th wedding anniversary to start the day in style. Every visit has been the same. Google reviews might be misleading. You have to first pay to enter the botanic garden, then you can dine at the cafe. Garden entrance was 4 euros. The garden entrance is a little further up the hill than Google maps suggests.

I came at 10 For the breakfast, they were just setting up. Staff was very sweet, I was the only customer and they made me an American breakfast at my request.

Went to the gardens to take a look around , and was pleasantly surprised to see they had a lovely cafe there , we ordered toasted sandwiches, which were freshly made and came with a small side salad ! Along with a pot of Tea ! The food was great and prices reasonable !!
