Pez Gordo — Restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz

We booked this place for a wedding after party. Everything went kind of well in the beginning at the reception and paid the 300Euro for the venue-table. The problem came up after when and incident happened with the ceiling lamps as they switched of right after I touched them and the security guards kicked me out without a fair explanation and pushed downstairs making me almost fall down from the stairs. Savages. When I was reaching the main door, pushed me again as he did not have enough. i really did not understand as I was almost by the door already leaving the place. My other 17 friends were shocked upstairs. I think the muscle fella wanted to make sure who was in charge that night and left clear his arrogance and his feeling of superiority. Anyway, a really bad service, no way you treat some like this. You deal with clientele who is having fun, ingesting alcohol and therefore more exciting and euphoric than usual. I have going out in London for about 9 years and everyone is cool coz they know how nightlife is, but when coming here to Tenerife, the night security guards can turn your party night into a nightmare. Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The staff were very accommodating allowing us to order our drinks & food in the bar area & then relocate to the table in the restaurant once the food was ready to be served. The bar area is so relaxing & beautifully decorated, the restaurant also very welcoming & calming. And the food was absolutely delicious, we both had pasta for our main meal & can honestly say both dishes were mouth watering, up there with the best pasta dishes we have ever eaten. I'm really disappointed with one of your bartender working in your disco. The small woman with the curly hair working behind the bar scammed me! I payed with my mobile phone and after payment she told me it was not working. So I tried it a second time and again she told me it was not working and I should pay with credit card. The mobile phone payment worked both times and for sure the credit card payment as well. So in total I did three successful payments for one drink!

The behavior is not sustainable and I feel screwed!
