Restaurante La Marea & Copacabana Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz

I can’t recommend them highly enough, it is such a good place for an evening dinner & cocktails testing.

First of all I’d like to say huge thanks to the chefs as they are an amazing, food as always served fresh! The combination’s of the food get in sequence as the 5 start restaurant.

Cocktails are I’d say always important with good meal you want to drink some nice margaritas or after the meal you want to relax yourself and enjoy the warm evening with cold cocktail. Bartender presented very well - made cocktails. They also using only premium alcohol to do the cocktails, other places uses one of the cheapest options. Prices are genuinely reasonable and compare to other bars quite inexpensive. (5€ per cocktail)

We were in Tenerife 9 days (6 of the evenings was spend on this bar / restaurant)

We always tried different food and drinks never been disappointed.

All the staff speaks perfect English, they are also very good and professionals on what they do.

I was staying in Tenerife with my Spanish better half from 10/07/16 - 17/07/16 And on the 10/07/16 I visited this wonderful restaurant jet lagged and tired and was overcome with joy as to the service and hospitality this little gem provides Being an award winning chef in London and having a Spanish Mrs I've ate all around mainland Spain and travel there at least four times a year and this place is where u can find some of the best Spanish food out there ladies and gentlemen I visited this place 3 times during my stay and had calamari ,one of the best seafood paella I've ever had (if u like yours with pepper and onions )amongst many other things ,I tried every dish on their tapas menu aswell as the best mackerel in the north of Tenerife Look I could be writing an essay describing all of this But here's the bottom line Go there try the food Enjoy the ambience and educated staff and just make sure you don't miss out if you're in the area And you will see exactly what I mean amazing amazing amazing Xx Big thank you to the floor staff for making my stay in Tenerife...

I had the set menu of the day, and overall it was a fairly complete and enjoyable meal. The starter – queso frito – was delicious and definitely the highlight. The main course left me with mixed feelings; it was okay, but not particularly memorable. The dessert was good and ended the meal nicely.

The food was decent overall, though not exceptional. The real standout is the cocktail menu – the drinks were excellent, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

The service, however, could use some improvement. It wasn’t bad, but it lacked a bit of warmth and attentiveness at times.

Still, I’d recommend the place, especially for the cocktails and atmosphere, and I’d be happy to come back and try a different dish next time – I feel like there’s real...
