Do not eat here. The food was awful. The food order, of six items, two were incorrect dishes and one was inedible. The chicken satay sauce was dark in colour, bitter and the chicken was overcooked. We complained about the taste and was told nobody else complained, the waiter then walked away saying he was new. Ordered a king prawn curry and was served a totally different dish. When I finally got the waiters attention, after partially eating the dish, he said we have given you the wrong dish, we do not have a chef and the manager is cooking. The waiter then walked away again. The mixed veg came out as pak choi. When it finally came out, we were just finishing our meal. The overall attitude of the staff at the restraunt was very dismissive and they didn't seem to care or apologise for their mistakes and were very rude and aggressive. We were happy to pay for the food that was correct and edible but had a major argument in full view of the restraunt about the incorrect dishes that they wanted to charge us for. We asked to speak with the manager, but no one wanted to engage with us. We paid for the food we had eaten and took a photo of the bill as it had become so unnecessarily heated. We have never experienced such rudeness or lack of professionalism in a restaurant and was completely embarrassing to us and I assume to other diners who had...
Read moreThey sell Chinese and Thai food. Service was a bit hap-hazard, 1 starter arriving on its own and after a further 5 minutes we had to ask for the 2nd starter and we hadn't had our drinks either so they came later. The couple next to us had been seated and ordered before we sat down but we got served 1st, I think we got served their starter as it was the same. I ordered fish in a black bean sauce, but I wasn't expecting it to be battered and because it was sat in a sauce it had gone soft, which was not very nice. My partner had the shrimp in black bean sauce which he enjoyed. I tried his sauce and it was 100% better than mine. Mine was like a soy sauce, his tasted like a syrupy sweet rich black bean sauce. His was served in a sizzling skillet, with onions and green peppers, mine just on a plate with some carrot and cucumber. The egg fried rice was ok but the noodles were thick and slimy, I was expecting thin fried crispy noodles, but maybe it was my mistake for not being specific. My spring roll starter was served on a plate with no garnish, see photo, it looks awful. It's a nice place though sat on the Boulevard overlooking the sea, however, there is a cool breeze at night, and although they have outdoor heaters going, you still need a cardigan,...

The staff barely speaks any English, so be careful—you might end up with something you didn’t order, which happened to us. We asked about several items on the menu but decided to order just two. However, the waiter brought a third dish we were merely inquiring about (you may see shrimps in the picture)
When we said we didn’t order it, the waiter left, confused. Later, another waiter came back, angry, and insisted we had ordered the dish, placing it on our table with a rude attitude. Despite trying to explain, she didn’t understand and kept repeating that we had ordered it, clearly expecting us to eat it and pay for it. To avoid further conflict, we accepted it.
The food was fine but bland. If the owner asks why we didn’t say something to the waiter—well, it’s because your staff doesn’t speak English.
For English-speaking tourists, I suggest sticking strictly to menu item numbers to avoid any confusion.
This is the reason why I leave 1 star, because of rude reception, unprofessional behavior, making our stay very unpleasant, with any possibility to explain due ti non English...
