Taquería el 48 — Restaurant in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

We ordered 4 taco with shrimp. Instead of shrimp we received deep fried dried chips. Chips were not tasty, they tasted like bread, but by the legend it’s made of shrimp. Taco dough was not tasty as well. We were hungry so we ate 2 taco unfortunately. Another 2 we returned back and explained why. But the staff still tried to charge us for 4 taco instead of 2. So we need to have the same unpleasant negotiation again. Never come...

Pretty poor considering all the good reviews..

We tried the trio of quesadillas one of which was drenched in tequila and did nothing for the taste the other two were bland melted cheese..

Also tried the trio of tacos again nothing to write home about and not convinced some of the meat was totally cooked.. But we are not ill... Yet

The only saving grace was the nachos which are worth a try if you do...

Während meines Aufenthalts in Santa Cruz habe ich das Vergnügen gehabt, in der Taqueria el 48 zu essen, und es war eine phänomenale Erfahrung. Dieses Restaurant bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl an mexikanischen Speisen, darunter Tacos, Nachos und Salate, die alle ausgezeichnet waren.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist einfach unschlagbar. Für nur 24 € wurden wir beide satt und das bei einer Qualität, die weit über dem liegt, was man für diesen Preis erwarten würde. Die Lage des Restaurants ist perfekt, direkt an der Straße, was es ideal macht, um das Treiben auf den Straßen zu beobachten.

Nicht nur das Essen war super lecker, sondern auch der Service war erstklassig. Der Kellner war unglaublich nett und sorgte für eine tolle Atmosphäre. Die Sauberkeit des Lokals war ebenfalls beeindruckend, was das Esserlebnis noch angenehmer machte.

Alles in allem war der Besuch in der Taqueria el 48 ein voller Erfolg. Für das hervorragende Essen, den großartigen Service und das tolle Ambiente vergebe ich mit Freude volle 5 Sterne. Ein absolutes Muss für jeden, der in Santa Cruz...
