I’m glad I was able to try this place when I visited Santiago de Compostela. I came in at the beginning at lunch hour (13:00h). I was able to secure a table on the outside (which was perfect for cooler temperature). The inside got very crowded and loud during rush time.
I was greeted by one of the owners. She was very friendly. I ordered several items from the menu. Eggplant chips w/ ponzu sauce was so good! The hint of citrus in the ponzu sauce makes it very refreshing. Shiitake mushrooms tempura in teriyaki sauce was also delicious. Xiao Long Bao - it’s pretty good. I do wish the soup dumpling has more soups in it - they need more juice inside and the skin was a bit dry. I also wish the chili oil was served separately. Los 3 creditos - it was very good interpretation of “asian” flavor bolognese. I love the freshly made noodles - it has the perfect texture in chewiness and bite. The bone-in pork was delicious and cooked very well - although you might want to be careful because there were some broken bones pieces mixed in with the bolognese sauce.
Overall I have a great experience. It’s a creative approach of Asian-inspired dishes if you want to try something no traditional. I would come again when I...
Read moreI've been here 3x. The Pad Thai is delicious, a large serving of noodles with veggies, and a garnishing which adds to a symphony of flavors which compliment each other. This time i ordered the pollo frito and I was very disappointed. The serving of noodles was very small and it was swimming in, more like drowned in a very salty sauce which over dominated the other ingredients. I love Asian food, spicy or not, this was a salt fest, nothing more. The slices of chicken were small and tough around the edges, unpleasant to taste, i tried hard to like it. You could fit all the chicken in one tablespoon, the vegetables were onions and cabbage,i didn't see carrots or notice anything else except for garnish. The way they were cooked, the overwhelming sauce, the small portion of noodles, chicken and veggies was disappointing. I eat Asian every chance I get, I never had chicken like this. On the plus side the staff is friendly and they play good music. Having lived here for years I reccomend Numaru Korean food in Vista Alegre,in terms of taste, menu diversity, portion size and value it is tops in Santiago.
He estado aquí 3 veces.
Read moreNara feels like one of those hidden gems I used to queue for back in London – the kind of place where the wait is part of the experience. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, very family-like, and the space itself is cosy and welcoming. Their waitlist system works seamlessly: you just pop your name down, get a message, and before you know it you’re seated – no stress, no standing around. And honestly, the food is worth every minute of waiting: the noodles are outstanding, full of flavour, and remind me of the best spots in Soho or Shoreditch, but with an even more personal touch. A must-visit...
