I was impressed by the wide selection of food choices, smoothies, fresh juices, and coffees on the menu at Ava de Sevilla. As someone who follows a mostly Pescatarian/Vegetarian diet, I was pleased to find a variety of great choices tailored to my preferences. The highlight of the meal was the beautifully presented avocado on toast, topped with fresh tomato on a tile slab, which perfectly complemented the burst of flavors from the orange, lemon and grape juice I ordered. My friend, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed a delicious granola fruit bowl accompanied by a refreshing iced coffee. Photograph attached below!
Violetta and her colleagues were exceptional in their customer service. They were polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our dining experience. Despite the language barrier, as we tried to communicate in Spanish, they were patient and did their best to explain any menu items we had queries about. Their efforts to assist us in English were highly appreciated, and it made us feel welcome and valued as guests!
While the food quality and pricing were commendable, there was a slight hiccup in the overall dining experience due to promptness and efficiency. It took us a while to be seated, as some tables were not cleaned and ready for use. Additionally, getting cutlery brought to our table was a bit slow, and we had to remind the staff multiple times. However, I understand that the place was bustling with customers, and sometimes, the working culture and environment can be more relaxed in other countries. Although this did not overshadow the wonderful food and lovely customer service, a quicker seating and cutlery arrangement would have made the experience even more enjoyable due to our packed schedule ahead.
Overall, Aba Sevilla is a must-visit breakfast and brunch spot in the city. It has the potential to elevate its dining experience to a perfect 5 out of 5, with improved promptness in the service. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly recommend this eatery to anyone looking for a delicious and fulfilling start to their...
Read moreFor my 10 wonderful days in this area of Spain and after all the wonderful brunches and restaurants, we came to this highly rated brunch place with my wife. Maybe the food is good but we did not have the chance to try it because of the service we received. We entered the place and asked for a table. We got one. It was uncleaned (no dishes but food leftovers) and stayed like this until we left the place later. We chose our food and then waited 10-15 mins for the waiter to come. After that I waved him 2 times on which he noded. 2 tables came after us and they got cleaned and they ordered. I waved one more time, another nod. A bit later a lady asked for the bill. The waiter went to their table outside so they can pay by card. At that moment we decided to leave the place. Such a bad service from the waiter. The only image I attach is of the utensils they brought us - they seemed used, they were all unclean but on the image you can clearly see the bulk of chocolate on the top of one of the “clean” forks. Maybe the place is good but with that service and the amount of uncleaned stuff I would honestly avoid it. P.s. I had to remove the image as Google was not allowing me to post the...
