Visited twice while my husband and I were in Seville. The first time was a Saturday night and the place was packed! Yet the staff made space for us and were super patient with our sub-par Spanish. We had the papas bravas for Tapas which was pretty good but I think I expected something fancier (they were fried potato chunks with tomato based hot sauce on top). I had the sword fish and hubby had the grilled squid (chocos) which were very good.
The second time we visited was a Monday night and it was much quieter. The server remembered us and welcomed us with recommendations for tapas; the eggs flamenco which were pretty good. We also tried the bull tail croquettes. Sounds questionable but they were so tasty! For the main course we had grilled beef strips that came on a sizzling hot stone served with thick cut fries and grilled peppers. Sooooo so good. Best meat dish we had in Seville.
Super friendly staff. As previous reviews mentioned they do welcome tourists just like the locals. And there were lots of locals there so you know it must be good!
Atmosphere was nothing special but clean and welcoming. What else do you want but good food at a...

The spicy potatoes were simply fried potatoes with ketchup on it. When we asked if it was the spicy potatoes the staff looked shocked that we could ask that. It was not spicy at all.
The potatoes with aioli was simply potato salad - don't get this if you're looking for potatoes with aioli drizzled on top or with sauce to dip in.
Bread is served at the table at 75 cents per person. If you DO NOT eat it or touch it they charge for it. They refused to remove it from the bill. We ended up taking it home since it was a lot of money.
We didn't get a wifi password. Not sure if there was working internet.
Lastly, service was awful. Even when we asked questions about meals we received attitude and the two waiters were running around like the restaurant was busy (it wasn't).
Needless to say, we left, and two people in the group went to get burgers from another restaurant down the road after the meal. Burgers were...
Read moreWe were a group of 5 couples all from Sevilla. We are well traveled and honestly I am disappointed. We had a reservation, we were 10 plus a total of another 10 were distributed at other tables. In total including us we were 20, squeezed into a room surrounded by windows that was for a maximum of 10. The chanquetes were the size of anchovies and were made of dough, they forgot to serve our ensaladilla. The tomato with Melba had no dressing, but they did remember to add the oregano. The largatito/sliced pork meat was fine. The waiters were young, nice, but totally overwhelmed. The restaurant was filled. The error is that they should not have filled the restaurante beyond what was I perceive the legal limit. The owner was definitely not there, or if he was he only thought about the short term profits. All 10 of us left without having the ensaladilla, coffee nor dessert. It was really unfortunate. To note this is my first ever review of...
