Hiyoki — Restaurant in Seville

Christmas Day dinner doesn't get much better than this.

Wonderful interior and place setting set the scene immediately upon arrival. Attentive, friendly and gracious waitresses endorsed those first impressions.

Seaweed salad got the evening off to a rocking start, absolutely packed with flavour.

Goyoza, crescent-shaped dumpling filled with chicken, and dipping sauce were light and delightful.

Vegetable and prawn tempura were, like all the dishes so far, on point.

Prawn sushi was so fresh and refined, what a contrast go the ready made sushi we endure in supermarkets and high street chains.

Beef Teppanaki with stir fried vegetables and mushrooms was utterly delightful and delicious too.

Ordered some tuna and prawn nigiri sushi to finish. Sushi was the best I'd had since the time I worked in the Philippines.

Finally, quick word about the waitress, Kim, and her two colleagues that looked after us over the course of the evening. These three ladies tended to our needs with grace and a professionalism that's so rare in European establishments. The food was incredible but the attention to detail and the attentiveness we experienced this evening amplified the great vibes we experienced over the course of the evening.

I read that's this was the best sushi in Seville. Whilst it may now achieve top billing as a gastronomic destination in this city I guarantee it will be the highlight of your dining experiences in Seville and, importantly, at a fraction of the cost of restaurants we had tried nearby.

After quite a bit of time in Sevilla, we were looking for non-Spanish places to have some food and found the perfect positive surprise at Hiyoki! There aren't many "sushi" places in Sevilla and this one definitely deserves all the praise! We had duck gyōza as a starter and the 14 piece mixed sushi set. Both were fantastic in quality, we savoured every single bite 😋 The fish tasted fresh and delicate, so that we could have eaten more, simply to taste some other of their creations! The prices are a bit higher but we found that it was really worth it!!! Finishing off dinner with sakes on the house was just the cherry on top to an overall extremely kind, friendly and efficient service!!! We will be recommending the place for sure and don't hesitate to stop...

Party of three went for dinner to Hiyoki. We ordered the mixed sushi (14 pieces), a Vegetable yakishoba and two plates of Meat Ramen. The sushi was out of this world, so fresh and so well cut, and the perfect amount of rice. The ramen was unreal, the broth was rich and meaty, the mushrooms and greens were unreal and the meat was perfectly cooked, and nicely thick. The vegetable noodles were flavoursome and packed with veggies. The venue is stunning and the staff is attentive and helpful without being too overbearing. While it may be more expensive than other places in Seville, 100% would recommend, you will definitely get your moneys worth and the quality of the produce...
