Very very bad experience for non-Spanish speaking tourists. We arrived at 9pm and started to queue. However, instead of getting a table when previous guests leave, we were placed into a corner where there are no seats at all and we have to stand and wait, and unfortunately Spanish speaking locals who seem to be really familiar with this place kept cutting queues to get available tables. Eventually (after 30+min waiting), we decided to just stand and eat, and we went to order food.
The food came at a very slow pace, unlike other tapas place. We waited 1.5 hours to get all our four dishes. In the middle of our waiting, the waiter also came and check on which dish has been served and which has not, which appears quite unprofessional to me.
The food is also of normal quality and taste. Not good and worthy at all for all the waiting time. Locals who are familiar with this place might find it a cozy place to eat and drink with friends. But for tourists, especially non-Spanish speaker, I will not recommend this at all. Rather, I will suggest all to avoid this place if you do not want to spend 2 hours waiting for just four small...
Read moreSome of the best food I have had in Servile, be prepared to eat and stand as the venue is small but the food is truly amazing. I wish I had a 1000 stomachs so that I could eat everything on the menus. Lovely hosts, very friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu, great wine, truly great and the most authentic and wonderful atmosphere. I will be letting anyone I know visiting Servile to eat here!
To guarantee a table try and arrive at our just before they open as they don't accept reservations. The only down side is they have limited vegy options and no vegan...
