The food is very good and the atmosphere is beautiful. However, the service seems to be stuck in the 1950s, where waiters think that women are unable to order for themselves or even be addressed as people dining at the restaurant. We arrived for our confirmed 7 PM reservation and were greeted by someone who ended up being our waiter but apparently didn't know how to access the reservation system. After several minutes of confusion on their part regarding our reservation and another couples, we were taken to the upstairs dining room, where more consternation ensued because our table was set up for 4 instead of 2. He finally just removed two place settings, and we were seated. Very odd. It took some time to get menus, and then we were able to order drinks. We had already reviewed the menu online and knew that we wanted the paella. We also ordered a starter of creamy potatoes and shrimp. The waiter insisted that the smaller portion wasn't enough for two, but when it arrived, it was much more than we needed. It was excellent, though. The paella was also very enjoyable. After our water and wine had run out waiting for the paella, we were able to flag the waiter down, and I asked for another glass of wine for my husband and a glass of sangria for me. The waiter then turned to my husband and asked if this was correct. Really? When he brought the specials menu, he only presented it to my husband, and when we were leaving, he said "goodnight, sir" and didn't even acknowledge my presence. To sum up, great food,...

Walking into this beautiful restaurant our expectations were high of a wonderful night away from the cheaper street side bars and cafes of Seville. We had visited earlier in the day to book our table and seen a stunning display of fresh seafood on ice in the window. We arrived at 9pm, our booking time, and after a brief review of the menu asked the waiter for some assistance to be told that almost all of the seafood was already gone! We were left with only two options, groper and sole. Whilst he explained this proved the freshness of the food, I suggest this also proves a disappointing lack of planning for a seafood restaurant. Whilst the service was attentive, it took us to ask for olive oil with our bread and lemon with our sole, which could have been offered, and the head waiter generally was curt and appeared hurried. Our starter was a share plate of prawns on Russian salad, which was very large and more stodgy than what we have had elsewhere, and the prawns were tiny and disappointing. We were unable to finish the dish, but noone asked us if we enjoyed it. Our main was 'traditional' sole, the presentation did not appeal, with a bed of mushrooms being the hero of the dish, and the sole rolls on each side. It was tasty, but had not been explained when ordering. The highlight of our meal was the creme brulee, a delicious finish. Overall, I would not return, after an evening that promised so much but did...

The Restaurant is beautiful and in a small alley next to la Virgen de Baratillo. The hostess girl with the long black hair was very sweet, she had long black hair not only treated us great but she was able to give us a table without having a reservation.

The waiter is very nice but as a waiter his service was completely incompetent, he had no clue over what ingredients are used to cook in this restaurant.

Despite commenting on allergies and intolerances, they brought the Arroz Caldoso a la Marinera without obviously having communicated it with the kitchen as it had all the allergies.

The main course, a delicious whole Seabass cooked in salt, was brought to us again with side dishes all with allergens (after they had assured us that they were keeping an eye), finally taking 3 of 4 side dishes back and bringing 2 simple lettuce salad and leaving one of the people who does NOT have allergies without garnish.

In conclusion, a painful service because they do not have informed waiters and especially if we consider that it was a €250 bill for 4 people. They did not add a discount or any complimentary dessert or drink. Terrible. I do not recommend it for people with allergies or...

Sleek modern room and very warm and welcoming. Wait staff was excellent and friendly and very Informing. Great wine list and very reasonably priced. Chose a local wine-as we always like to- and it was €17 a bottle. A group we have never had before. Very tasty! Started with a shrimp and avocado salad —-it was the best we’ve had in these first 12 days. We had cod in a beautiful sauce and shrimp croquettes —a half order. I wanted to order a full order but the waiter talked me into half order since it was 8 croquettes instead of 16! Very glad he did so I had room for dessert. Finished with a nice glass of Pedro Ximenez Sherry—it was an awesome dessert wine. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! We made a reservation for two days later since we liked it so much. Looking forward to going back! It was an incredible value for what you got!
