Mito is a small but really charming ice cream spot that we randomly walked into, and we’re so glad we did. The ice cream was super tasty – creamy, rich in flavor, and clearly made with good ingredients. You can tell they care about quality here. One of the best parts was how friendly the staff were. From the moment we walked in, they welcomed us warmly and made us feel like regulars. If you’re not sure what to get, they’re happy to offer you a taste so you can choose the flavor that suits your mood. That’s always a plus, especially when there are interesting options on the menu. The place itself is small but clean and cozy – great for a short stop while exploring the city. It’s not a super flashy place, but it’s all about quality and kindness here. Prices were fair, especially considering how good the ice cream was. It’s a nice little break spot during a hot day, or even as a dessert after dinner. I love finding places like this that feel local and personal, rather than touristy or overly commercial. If you’re in the area and craving something sweet, don’t hesitate to drop by Mito. You’ll leave with a smile and probably wish you had room for more scoops. I’d definitely go back next time I’m nearby –...
Read moreDo not go anywhere else for gelato! This is the legit stuff (ignore anywhere with bright coloured ice cream that’s piled high!) a great variety of flavours, staff were friendly and allowed us to try multiple options to help decide what we wanted. The dark chocolate with orange was divine! So good that my other half (who’s not a massive dessert fan and doesn’t like dark chocolate) got jealous and ended up getting his own! Can also recommend the pistachio (not too sweet and genuine proper pistachio flavour with a slight saltiness to it!), nougat, hazelnut, raspberry and mango. We visited multiple times during our trip here (sometimes twice per day!) and it never...
Read moreAmazing ice cream with special precaution to celiacs! The ice cream was delicious, but what really drew my attention was their care for celiacs. They had 2 separate containers for each ice cream in order to prevent cross contamination. Also, they had gluten free cones and a special wrapped spoon. They also had lactose-free ice creams that my lactose intolerant partner loved. The service was very good and the ladies were helpful with explaining that the ice creams were gluten free and which ice creams were lactose free. Lastly, the servings were more than enough for the small size (€3.50). Highly...
