McDonald's — Restaurant in Seville

I have never written a review of anywhere on google, but the experience I had in this mcdonald’s is definitely the worst I have EVER had at any restaurant let alone a mcdonald’s.

We entered the location, with my sister requiring a sugary drink as her blood sugar was low, whilst I was incredibly parched. As such, we ordered only drinks (two fantas and two waters, which of course would not require any preparation), and so expected a swift degree of service (with some tempering of expectation given the busy city environment).

What actually occurred was a 40 minute disaster, in which the staff at the front desk and on drinks (including the manager) proved time and time again to be rude and ineffective. After 20 or so minutes, where every other person who had ordered had seemingly been served, we attempted to gather the attention of staff (with our admittedly limited spanish ability), but they consistently ignored us, and spoke over us to serve other people's food. After another 20 minutes of us attempting to convey the need for us to get our drinks, we had to cut our losses and leave as it became clear that we were not going to get our drinks.

As someone who has travelled a fair amount I have been used to the same consistent considerate customer service of a mcdonald’s employee, including at another mcdonald’s within Seville, and on the rare occasion an issue has arisen, they have always been willing to solve the issue, in spite of any potential language barriers. As such, this means the Mcdonald’s at this location holds the very disappointing title of being the very worst experience I have ever had in a McDonald’s, and if I am back in Seville I can be certain that I shall not be returning to this rendition of Mcdonald’s.

Ordered food at the kiosk. Tapped my card - the machine beeped - the kiosk printed a full receipt and the kiosk screen reset to the New Order page. So everything indicated that we had paid for an order.

After waiting for a half hour the attendant informed us that our receipt was no good because at the top, in fine print, there was a message reading “denegado”.

So that was a total waste of time. Why would it print a whole receipt if you didn’t actually order anything?

The attendant was no help at all and offered no assistance.

Waste of time. You’re an idiot if you visit this place and expect a decent experience or...

Absolutely disgraceful behavior and treatment from the manager. Ordered almost 30 euros worth of food. Could have eaten anywhere but was craving McDonald's. Firstly requested sweet and sour sauce. The manager looked at me annoyingly and said she don't understand English. Didn't even want to help. Ordered double cheese burger among other things. Gave me a burger with single patty. So technically this is a robbery at this point. Money is not the issue here. Service is.

Avoid if possible. Enjoy the other fantastic places...
