We ate here twice during our stay in Seville, once for very tasty tapas and once for delicious burgers. The burgers were actually off the menu of "Toby eats the world", the dog-friendly sister restaurant in the same building. Both meals were excellent and fairly priced. The staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very good.
There are English menus and the staff also spoke English, though the only area of confusion is over the meaning of "French fries". With the tapas dishes (patatas bravas), the English menu states that they're French fries, but of course they're actually fried potatoes. When we ordered the burgers, I asked if they came with fries, and the waitress confirmed they came with French fries, but again they were fried potatoes! They were very tasty anyway, just not what we were expecting!
The only reason we haven't given 5 stars is due to the toilets. There is only one for women and one for men so each time I had to queue, and sometimes for a little while. The soap seemed very diluted and the hand drier didn't work. The amount of people using the toilet also meant it wasn't as clean as it...
Read moreI visited with my partner, who had previously enjoyed excellent meals here, especially the tortilla. Unfortunately, this visit did not reflect that same level of quality. We ordered white sangria but received red (served in a very small wine glass instead of the larger one typically used) and there was no acknowledgment or apology when menttioned. The “patatas bravas” were simply basic fried potatoes.. . The first tortilla tasted reheated, though to their credit, they did replace it with a freshly made one when we asked (i recommend aksing for a fresh one).
Attention to detail seemed lacking: an accompaniment arrived already opened, and the aioli tasted mostly like mayonnaise. And the servers appeared a bit inexperienced.
Although the food came quickly, much of it felt reheated rather than freshly prepared, and not corrently done. Overall, the experience felt very mediocre. Wouldn't come back as for same price there...
Read moreSaw the Michelin label on the door and came in. As a local resident, I would say this is a restaurant perfectly for tourist. Pros: Nice dining environment. Excellent service (all waiters speak fluent English). Food is not bad. Price is not sky high (fair for this level). Lunch opens at 12:00 PM (most of local bars start at 1:30). They list everything on the menu, do read it carefully. Cons: Nothing special from the menu. The Tortilla de patata is the winner but not very into it. The rest dishes are very normal and typical in other local bars and restaurants. The salad is quite small considered the price. Try the tartar de salmon, they mix the salmon with carrots and onions, and the fish is not at its best condition. The carrillada is soft but dry as well. The chipiron is good. Risotto is good too. No free aceituna, 2.2€ is way to expensive for neither the quality not the quantity. Most of the other locations...
