We only went to the restaurant as I am vegan and my friend had seen a post (from their instagram) that mentioned a vegan menu along with a list of dishes. We went along and were greeted by a lovely waitress called Alban who seated us. The waitress who followed up was not pleasant at all and was too consumed with sucking the food out of her teeth to convey any warmth at all. She did not speak any English, which is absolutely fair given we were in Spain, and so we were happy to muddle through with pointing at menu items. I referred to the post on their Instagram to make it clear I was vegan and didn’t want any of the other options. We chose the gyoza, cauliflower and artichokes (my friend also ordered some mussels for herself). When the artichokes arrived they looked lovely but we’re covered in cured ham… I scraped this off. I was unconvinced any of this was plant based but due to the waitress’s abruptness I ate what I could without consuming meat. The food was tasty but I then saw orders come out to tables that evidently were not ordering for vegans and I noted the dishes looked identical to mine. Luckily I am not an easily offended person but it was very discouraging to have been mislead like this. The waitress acted as if we were an inconvenience the whole time we were there and we felt as though we were not wanted. I asked for the bill and I thought the waitress had ignored me as she completely looked through me but she brought the bill over. We paid for our overpriced meal and left. Honestly, I really never leave negative reviews and I would mention that Alban was so lovely - I suspect our experience would have been very different if she had served us throughout. I feel very let down by the whole experience and would not recommend the restaurant to meet eaters either. There is far better food in the surrounding area that will not have the pretension, unpleasantness or...
Read moreI read one of the google reviews that stated ‘pure arrogance’ and I could not agree more. Myself and my friend visited Pan Y Circo after seeing it on a tik tok which mentioned it had good vegan options as my friend is vegan. Upon entering the empty restaurant we were greeted by the lovely Alban, and we informed her we did not make a reservation to which she had to check with her colleague if it was then okay to seat us. We were then left after not being given any menus, after a while the colleague came over for our drinks order, we asked for a menu as previously mentioned we were just left without a word and she just tapped on a QR code and walked away, while ordering we received a disinterest attitude and unwelcoming behaviour. Our food arrived and unfortunately the ‘vegan’ options we ordered were not vegan. Alban who was not our waitress did come over and make some conversation with us to which we were thankful, I think she knew we were uncomfortable and was trying to make up for her colleagues attitude. Overall we had an unwelcome, uncomfortable and overpriced experience, I’m honestly astonished that this restaurant has so many...
Read moreWe had high expectations since they charged € 10 pp just to reserve. We were 4, so not a big party.
The "Colombian Patacon" was their best dish... and the rest fell flat...
The most disappointing was the "Signature Dish" Fish & Prawn Thai Curry... pictured. It came cold, not warm, completely cold... When we mentioned it they took it back and microwaved it... it was inedible... I left the full rice and mussel uneaten. They should have re-fired. Period. Microwaving seafood is a Big No.
The bill did not take into account the € 40 pre-paid reservation, to which we had to remind them.
They asked if everything was OK, and we politely explained the pre-pay was missing and the signature dish was served cold and later microwaved.
They did apologize, but that was about it.
Unfortunately, none if us will be returning or recommending.
Ambience is nice, but if the food is not served hot or the service is slow, it doesn't really matter how nice or unique the place looks.
And pricey for some of the plates... just not...
