When you find that one restaurant that serves specialty cuisine that is above all others, you want to eat there every night. El Sella was that one for us. We ate there tonight for the first time and will definitely be back before returning home. Tapas is the way to go. Because the portions are small, you can sample multiple dishes. We started with Croquetas De Pixín Con Langostinos and then Chorizos Asturianos A La Sidra. Wow. Everywhere in Spain restaurants serve these croquettes. They are often ham and a bechamel sauce. Here it's seafood. They were the best in have ever eaten and I have eaten my fair share over the years. The chorizo sausage was served with fries and had a pronounced smokey flavor. Amazing 👏. Then our server Tony recommended that we have the Bacalao Gratinado. It usually pays to listen to the expert. I am not a lover of fish But this dish is amazing. When we placed our order Tony asked if we wanted bread. I usually say no but I was glad I did. I would have licked the plate clean if I had no bread. But the bread did the trick. We wiped it clean. Last but not least, my husband ordered a regional specialty of Chorizo, Blood Sausage, and Beans in a red tomato sauce. By the time this dish arrived I was pretty full but I had to try it. The beans were perfectly cooked and the sausages were the same smokey ones as we had before. Once again, the bread came in handy for dipping in that sauce. To my surprise, my husband wanted something sweet. We ordered the cheese cake. Served with 2 heaping dollops of whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. I find that most cheesecakes in North America are too sweet. But not this one. Made with Asturian cheese and baked to perfection it wasn't very sweet. But thanks to the whipped cream and chocolate my husband's sweet tooth was more than satisfied. Would we go back? 100% YES. Can't wait. On our second visit, two day later, we were lucky enough to have the same waiter, Tony, he is amazing. If you have an early reservation, 8:30, try and have him serve you....

El Sella Triana is a nice restaurant, with good food, but that's all. I would say that my experience was average. The waiters were very friendly

We had the following: The octopus salad: not really what I was expecting but interesting. It was similar to the French boeuf salad, but with octopus instead of beef Oysters: they were very big and meaty, quite nice Patatas bravas: interesting take on this classic dish. They came with two sauces, one tomato and one garlic (very garlicky). They were just a bit spicy. I think it was a bit too much sauce The beans with smoked sausage: quite good, reminded me of home

The bread portions should be a bit bigger I think. Personally I would prefer another mini bread instead of the little bag of snacks, it would be more helpful for dishes where you have to dip

Overall, good food, but not necessarily fantastic. I might come back to change...

Nice traditional Spanish food in a family atmosphere near central Sevilla (within the walking zone from the Cathedral).

Great and friendly service in trying-hard broken Spainglish. The staff was friendly from the moment of our arrival. Our waiter was thoughtful, helping us with wine and food choices, explaining how dishes were prepared, warning us about how BIG some of the dishes were. Go hungry to this place!

We were only a couple so did not eat so much, but grilled fish and cachapo were both excellent plates. We were touched when we declined dessert but still were brought after-dinner digestifs.

This place trends to the late diner, we arrived 8:30pm with reservation and were some of the first people seated. They were seating plenty of new patrons at 10:30pm when we left.

Also, my better half is telling me to tell you the sangria is...
