Good coffee, terrible service. The coffee is not good enough to be worth getting smirked at.
We ordered in Spanish, a flat white and cafe con leche (coffee with milk) which is standard in every Spanish cafe. The barista laughed and rolled her eyes and said, "One flat white, one latte," in Spanish. I corrected her and said, "No. One flat white and one cafe con leche." She rolls her eyes again. I didn't quite understand until I looked at the menu again and realized they didn't have cafe con leche. So I looked at her and said, "Oh I see you don't have cafe con leche. Hmm. But I don't want a latte because that's too much milk." So she yells the order, "Two flat white." And I looked at her and asked, "Flat white has two shots of expresso right? I don't want two shots of expresso. Please just give me a cortado then."
So instead of using her words to let me know that they don't have what I ordered...the barista laughed, rolled her eyes, and told me what to order...TWICE.
The cafe has three small tables and stools at the opposite end of where you order coffee. All the photos of the beautiful seating area is actually the lobby of a hotel and is for hotel...
Read moreCannot believe the racist and despicable way I was treated here. I’ve been in Sevilla for two weeks and chose to come here to work on four different occasions. On the fifth I walked in to order a coffee but no one was behind the bar so I went to set up my laptop and then go and order. Before I could do that the manager (picture attached) started screaming at me and told me to “get lost” because people like me have been coming and sitting here without ordering anything and taking up space. She screamed at me in front of customers and residents and then her colleague tried to pick up my laptop and take it away from me. I have been a paying customer and I showed them pictures of all receipts yet the woman kept screaming at me. She said “I don’t care there’s no space for someone like you here.” This was so upsetting I had to leave the establishment crying.
Disgusting place horrible staff and racist behaviour that has completely ruined my experience of Sevilla on...
Read moreI love a good coffee shop and try to visit a different one each day when I'm traveling to really experience the local coffee culture. This one was on my list for awhile, and was located pretty central near the cathedeal. The barista was very sweet and worked quickly. Unfortunately, the coffee itself left a bit to be desired. We ordered both a hot and a cold coffee (both lattes) and both just tasted like watered down milk. They don't offer flavors (most shops I encountered in Spain dont which is ok with me) but I was dissapointed that there was barely any espresso flavor especially since it was a standard latte. Even the hot one was weak, overall I wasnt wowed by anything but how nice the barista was at this spot. We only had coffee, nothing to eat but I remember there was a little display with...
