We just got back from an amazing Carnival weekend in Valencia, and our experience at Bataraza Bodegón was a major highlight! From the cozy atmosphere to the delicious food, everything exceeded our expectations.

The trucha Patagonia was a standout dish - The kids loved the traditional empanadas de carne and provolone cheese, and onions the chef's personal touch also make our lunch experience awesome He took the time to visit our table, share upcoming menu dishes. It's hard to call "Bataraza" a hidden gem - located on one of the most popular streets in Valencia, out in the open and with huge windows. It's also one of the most gorgeously designed restaurants in Valencia - it's stylish, charming and authentic. It's one of those places that just work - and from the moment you step in, you immerse yourself in the world created by the owners: it's the whole package. The service is helpful and polite, the food is great - especially recommended are the traditional chipas and the fresh "palmettos" salad. If I could change anything, it would be the music (the mixtape of current hits takes you out of the Agrentinian fantasy) and the prices are on the steep side. Other than that, Bataraza is a much needed breath of fresh air in Valencia....

We absolutely loved this place. The food is savory and of magnificent quality at a great prize. The menu consists of traditional argentine dishes reminiscent of homemade flavors with a touch of culinary art. Our party orderer different appetizers and main menu items to share. The various empanadas, the milanesa, the beef steak, palmitos, and desserts were sooo good! Try the pears in wine. The bar has a good wine selection, and the bartender makes excellent mixed drinks.
