When customer service comes second. My wife orders 3 different coffees, one of which truns out amazing, 2nd one ok, and third one just old and over roasted.

So, my wife reaches out to their customer service to see if we can exchange it or discount (unlike wine, it doesn't age well). Quick disclaimer, my wife is a member of the Speciality Coffee Association, has had extensive courses and used to run a coffee distribution business. I've always been her guinea-pig when coffee tasting was the topic.

Anyway, she gets to speak to this employee, who laughs at my wife's face, discards ger complaints, and essentially is straight awful with her. Let's say that the fact that my wife has a south American accent, triggered some "need to show I'm better than her" from the average Spaniard. It doesn't happen often, as València is a fantastic city, but once in a while you do get garbage person.

Customer service can work in different ways, and this being our first foreign experience outside of Switzerland, I'm still sometimes a bit surprised as to why would you be so unfriendly, or simply horrible to any customer. Let alone those who know what they are talking about.

So to conclude, 2 out of 3 good coffees, and a horrible and rude...

The owner/ vendor is such a kind woman. She speaks enough english to helped me with my decision. She gave me details about her products.

It's super organized and we'll arranged in the shop. It's adorable.
