Haus Playa — Restaurant in Valencia

We ordered the Mac and cheese, Sashimi (with Rice) and a pizza. The pizza was good, arrived to look better than on the menu so that was a plus. It was a average, good pizza. Mac and cheese wasnt a good one. It just had a lot of cheddar sauce and not really melted cheese. Also a Mac and cheese should have more type of cheeses than just cheddar (and no cheese sauce). Also a Mac and cheese should be macaroni, but in the end it all tastes pretty much the same. Should be noted tho that you get small penne’s. The sashimi on rice was horrible? The Rice was undercooked and certainly not a kind of sushi or poke bowl Rice. The Salman was fine but had a sea-like taste. After telling that to the waitress we could get a new one tho or change to something else. So the service was good.

This was truly a great meal and I just happened to walk in as I was walking through the area looking for a place to have dinner. The food that I was looking for they had on their menu and it was dinner time and late and I really wasn't thinking paella would be a good thing that late in the evening. But the fish they had really was exactly what I was looking for. The grilled sea bass with the sauce on the side and the Mediterranean roasted vegetables were just perfect. I didn't need anything else and my wait staff was just excellent for the entire evening. They were helpful, they were cordial and super friendly. bad service!! I ordered a cocktail and asked several times if they could make it well, when it was brought out, I immediately refused it, because the cocktail was simply disgusting to taste and I did not drink it at all, but nevertheless it was added to the bill, despite the fact that the bill includes 10% for service and an extra 5% if you sit on the terrace. The food is tasteless. I asked for a complaints book but they did not give it to me, however, the establishment does not have the right to work without a complaints book! I have been to many establishments on the coast, but only this restaurant left the most unpleasant impressions, the staff is very rude and behaves extremely aggressively and...
